  • What are the tires at 0:58 ??

  • What 's the song used in video? Thank you for video.

  • @19Spencer80

Hi, its called "Follow me" by the band Secret Discovery.

  • i have a series 2, but it has a defender 90 body on it

  • how do you get the lands rovers so high off the the ground what type of lift kit do you use

  • @TheXbox36001 Thats how they came from the factory.

  • @TheXbox36001 these are 1 tons they have uprated springs and bigger tyres,so they could handle a one ton payload.they are not normal series.

  • @godzillaisnuclea123

    pretty much sums it up...

  • Someone needs to give the Southern Electricity land rover some driving lessons :p

  • Great video, thanks!

  • Look at the lack of spring travel on the 109 compared to the 88- these things ride much better with a bit of weight in the back! Dan was suffering from having very worn tyres; Big Blue is technically identical (although was running better) but was on brand new tyres. Dougal was also on worn tyres, but has a 3.3L nissan diesel engine giving it the power and torque to keep going. I did get stuck, but no-one videoed it, luckily!

Matt (driver of the green beastie)

  • i like them they r wicked!!!

i've been to tht pplace at the end its called conely green !!! good there!

  • Give it more welly as we would say here in N.Ireland

  • The southern elec landy. looks good.. but does come the grief.. Rock hard springs probably keep the wheels off the ground.. Also that number plate looks vulnerable.. Stick it on or above the bumper!

  • That number plate has been there for the past 30 odd years so its gonna stay there, thanks for the comment though, you are right about the hard springs.

  • This is truly the Mau Mau Colonial fleet

  • Nice video, especially as I am in the end bit leaning against a tree.

  • Glad you enjoyed it!

  • Great video! But whoever it is that owns the southern electricity land rover, I might suggest putting it in 4 wheel drive may make things easier!

  • The southern electric one is mine, had problems with lack of power and naff tyres to be honest. Glad you enjoyed the vid.

  • Yes it's brilliant! I have a 1981 Series III Swb diesel myself and I love it!
