@patrimat Hot cues for the Virtual DJ version, EQ kill for Traktor version. But it's possible to remap it.

@patrimat To be honest, I only read about remapping the mixtrack, but I've never done it myself, but I'm pretty sure you'll need to go pro to play with the mapping.

well i started out with FL studio 10 if you want i will send a torrent link to get the full vrse. free and then you might wana buy a LPD8 AKAI(60 bucks) then work on makin the beats with tht and buy NUMARK LAPTOP DJ GO (60 bucks) this numark is very close to what he is using 1/4 the price BUT this midi doesnt have the 3channel cue for each table....... :( ...... it get you started tho. plus wht if you buy wht he has and not want it later. always start small.

@CautionCrisis Nope. Never use the crossfader. Crossfaders are for scratching, turn off your crossfader in Traktor or Virtual DJ. It's way to much struggle to keep the crossfader centered. Certainly on a midi controller, where everything is a bit cramped. You might bump in to the crossfader, ruining your track.

@WyrmBlaster No it wouldn't work. However, buying the Mixtrack with the soundcard or buying just the Mixtrack Pro both end up costing £180 anyway so I'd suggest getting the Pro version if possible.

Little side advice if you are having trouble using the hot cues and making it sound good trying stracting a little bit while keeping the crossfader more towards the opposite side or looping works as well
