20 volt charge on 4700 uF capacitor would discharge nearly instantly when trying to pull 150 Watt light bulb energy out of it.

The Java applet there says 0.5 * C * V ^ 2 = 0.94 Joules

0.94 Joules is watt seconds so trying to pull 150 Watts from a source where there is less than 1 Watt Second available will discharge in less than 1/150 th of a second.

So how wrong could you be?

The translation captioning on the video states that the 20 VDC lab power supply is used for a few seconds until he disconnects the wires by hand. Once disconnected, the small energy in the capacitor would be drained very quickly as I explained previously (1/150th seconds).

If it were dropping a neodymium magnet into a copper tube, that had a plastic tube close fit around it and a second close fit copper tube. @baroutologos I do not have orig upload link. But I do clearly remember this being shown before. It was debunked back then after several people tried to replicate it. Now for anyone commenting please keep it clean and informative so that the Uploader doesn't have to disable the comments. Also try to contribute to the discussion and not sidetrack it. For my first question: Is that all the ground he really needed? Some chipped off paint and wire press against it? Any experimenter must have tons of gadgets with batteries. I have over 100 batteries I could have used to charge the cap and start the system. Would have been a better demo then.
