  • Shit, that sounded completely amazing! Great tone and playing! Cheers!

  • I just didn't want that to end! Very inspiring playing brother!

  • Awesome playing!! I´m thinking about buying one!! Can you tell me if the middle position is hum cancelling?? Thank you very much :D

  • @EdgarBeja Yes it is. Have fun! I have switched to a good old Strat :-)

  • awesome dude

  • Brilliant! Great playing. Great tone. Very refreshing!

  • Very nice arrangement and style. Great sound out of the guitar. I was looking at one on ebay and wanted to hear what it sounds like. You sold me on it!! Keep up the great playing!!

  • I reallllly want to learn how to play this, even more so than I want that guitar. Both are really great!

  • sweet! very cool tone and feel.......peace...vinnie

  • Very nice ! Well done and thanks

  • that was very beautiful.

  • Getting one of these on Tuesday, can't wait even more now! Thanks for the great video, sweet playing too.

  • Awesome tone man! :D

Is it just a metter of perspective , or is that neck , really , like really wide ?

  • Absolutely nice ! The neck PU is really delicious and your playing very cool.

  • what song are you playing in the video?

  • wow. just wow. awesome tone man. blew me away.

  • I am torn between a singlecut se and the singlecut soapbar.

What is the main difference in tone between soapbars and humbuckers? Thanks for your input.

  • Soapbars are single coils, so they capture finer nuances (and mistakes) in your playing better. For clean and crunch, I prefer the sound of soapbars, but for more distortion, you should probably go with humbuckers. Soapbars do hum quite a lot. I would recommend to try for yourself in a shop or just watch more videos with these guitars - you will get the difference.

  • @nicoooh but what would i use for like a hendrix(blues-rock) tone with distortion? my soapbars or my humbuckers?

  • @ajayprs155 I sold this guitar to get a Strat. For Hendrixey tone I would go with singlecoils, so I'd fot with the P90s. However, Hendrix did pretty much have an 'I don't care' approach, so I'd start with a Hendrix attitude more than worrying about the pickups.

  • Really nice. Tone, composition & playing. I think it would sound better when going from melody to the full chord, it would be better it you didn't downstroke so hard on the full chord. Its a dreamy melody & then all of sudden BAM! full chord. Just the addition of the extra notes in the chord is enough for emphasis when you are coming out of lick to give it drama. I tend to do the same thing and from listening to you I think I might have learned something about my own playing. Rock on Brother!

  • You're absolutely right. There are some flaws in the dynamics :-) Thanks for taking the time.

  • I think a well written set of lyrics, and an appropriate drum track would make this radio-worthy, maybe even displace Mayer...

Loved the dynamics in this vid - just bought that guitar, and love it.

  • Thanks this vid has just convinced me I have bought one

    Thanks

  • Very nice reverb/delay

  • Nice video man. Very nice playing!

  • PLEASE REPLY..

im buying a ibanez jtk3 and wna know whether there soap bar pickups are anygood??

  • Sorry, I like the soapbar sound, but if you have no chance of trying yourself in a shop, I would check youtube videos or online reviews of the jet king.

  • Nice I can't decide between this one and the PRS SE soapbar semi hollow

    Anyone can help?

  • I do like the sound of the semi-hollow, but the carved top of the regular soapbar model looks so much better :-) I assume the semi hollow must be a little neck heavy, which I do not like - just guessing though. Play them in a shop - I has to feel right, which is often beyond specs or looks.

  • sweet dude, r u a christian? I assume...

good track for a peacefull soundtrack, I already downladed dude, on my phone now, I hope its OK, gettin a toneport next week, will see if Im good as u

  • Great playing !!!! I Love the tone you're getting. I have gotta get an SE Soapbar soon...think I waited a bit too long..looks like all of the SE's just took a price jump : (

  • Great demo. Shows some of the sweet tones you can get from a very good inexpensive guitar. Good Job.

  • you really understand how to get what you want from a PRS guitar.

    Well done.

  • This is one of the best guitar play I've ever seen.

    thank you!!

  • You've got a great feel....I love the sound you elicit from the guitar.

  • GREAT playing man! you've got some great feel!

  • I like the SOUND and this quiet kind of music. It's very expressive.

  • Dude that is some TASTY playing. What's that riff by the way? If it's impro or some personnal stuff than I have to say it sounds absolutely awesome.

If it's a cover though, would you mind telling me what is it?

  • Thank you,

i took the chords from the worship song 'Light of the World' and improvised on it. The chord progression:

    E B f# f# |E B A Asus2 (Verse)

    E B E A (Chorus)

    B D A A (Bridge)

  • What gauge strings are you using? I just ordered a PRS SE in the blue like yours and was curious whether I should put some heavier strings on it

  • I used .10-.52, now I'm back to .10-.46.

9ers don't feel 'solid' enough for me on that scale (think it's 25")
