  • И ,НАДО БУДЕТ ,ЕЩЁ ДАДИМ ПО ЗАСЛУГАМ........

    ЗНАЙТЕ РУССКИХ!!!!!

  • russian has a lot of heroes denmark does have like about 1 from ww2

  • Why does every Russian name has a V on it. Except Dmitri.

  • The most great in USSR sniper was Fyodor Okhlopkov.429 kills,he was an ethnic Yakut. I wouldn't believe any russian propaganda in war time. Also, he had double shot as one and number of kills could be wrong. It maybe easy doubled, he also had hand-held machine gun as second. He begin count from 1942, for 2 years of war he had that count 429. He was a sergeant, it is credible information that other snipers have.

  • Also, he was the most effective during WWII. Because all shots that have been counted in numbers of kills was in head or eye. :-) Happy death.

  • @JapaneseNevski wrong,chuck norris created the universe

  • I could be wrong here, but I heard that the famous Russian snipers never killed as many German soldiers as what the people were told they did. It was all propaganda to raise the moral of the Russian troops. I'm not saying they didn't kill a shit load of Germans, just saying the numbers were higher than what they really were. = not 100% sure.

  • @RussiansArePerfect you understood right. Also Soviet Union (we can't say just Russians) snipers died a lot in that war. For example are numerous pictures of Romanian and Finns soldiers using Soviet material and basically all Romanian snipers (at that time fighting against SU) were using the Mosin Nagant sniper rifles. Considering that the Romanians were using VZ carbines and Manlichers and it was no such production in the kingdom of Romania, you understand the source of the weapons.Captured!

  • he can not shot Chuck norris

  • Sick dude, Soviets weren't the Americans allies they had no choice to join us... The Nazis were bigger then all the worlds armies combined

  • @basilone200 acctually the Soviets diddn't join the U.S. they were acctually at war before america ever joined war. The Soviets joined June 1941 when Germany invaded. after pearl harbor germany declared war on the U.S. because hitler hoped that Japan would come to his aid against the Soviets.

  • @basilone200 not really.

It is true that AXIS powers killed 2 times more soldiers than the Allied powers and killed 4 to 5 times more civilians than the Allies (they were no angels either), but they also run out of soldiers by the end of the war.

  • you should make video for Ivan Sidorenko! he kille 781 ppl :O

  • @marshenrik The Finn soldier Simo Haiha killed 500 Soviet soldiers with the rifle (no scope) and another 200 with the MP Suomi in 100 days during the Winter War. This makes him the most prolific soldier of the 20'th century. Simo just wanted to go back to his home.

  • @Lightspit Actualy a newspaper from finland stated that Simo killed only 215 soldiers. It was also published in a U.S. newspaper. Besides Fyodor Okhlopkov killed 1200 Nazis so Simo is still far away. :) But dont get me wrong i do not deny that he was a great soldier!

  • @1N73RC3P7OR for sure Chekhov was no coward and for sure he was a great soldier. That war was so intense so you could say that almost all survivors of that war were great soldiers. I hope that we will never experienced again such a war, but it looks like my hopes are in vain because now we have small wars everywhere.

  • @Lightspit It is sayed that the war to end the human race will start somewhere in the Middle East. I am not sure if it is true but we can all see that the casualties of war in there are rising by the day.....

  • @1N73RC3P7OR It is not so intense yet. Total losses of the coalition in Afghanistan is lower than the USSR had in 8 years. But on the same idea, what you say can become true with the advances in weapons technology achieved by some states. I cannot think of something worse than a fanatic group with access to NBC weapons. The atomic weapon technology is already 60 years old and can be achieved by a lot of countries. Even worse, the biological weapons are easier to produce, but will kill anyone.

  • Solid Snake would kick his ass.

  • @DrLeonSisk LOL!!!

  • @outskool100 Sorokovoe - Yes it means 40th

  • Just figured it out - he says "THE 40TH"! meaning his 40th kill.

15 kills later the famous General Rodimtsev personally handed Chekhov "Order of the red star

  • THIS MAN IS TO BE ADMIRED

  • correction on the video - Chekhov did Not loose both of his legs-the explosion tore off part of his left foot. Sorry - my 1st source was slightly wrong

  • Давал Люлей Анатолий Иванович немцам под Сталинградом 17 едениц уничтожил за 2 дня

  • a great sniper, but the best was Matthäus Hetzenauer!

  • The 40th.

  • You sure can put a surpressor on a rifle. Silencer is not the correct term. A bolt action rifle has no moving parts alike a semi auto. Sure there would the crack of the bullet going thru the sound barrier. So what it would not sound like a 7.62 x 54 R and that is the point. These days surpressors are so much better than what they had in WW-II A bolt action 22 with sub sonic ammo is about as quiet as whisper. Its not hard to make a can, Getting them to last for more that a couple of shots.

  • Eh, if he Chekov was a celebrated sniper, then what about Zaitsev? Anyway, was Chekov Zaitsev's student?

  • Though Vasily Zaitsew was a great soviet sniper of WW2, he was not the most successful one. There were many other gyes who scored more kills. But Zaitsev is the most well known of them.

Ivan Sidorenko is a top soviet sniper with about 500 kills.

  • Zaitsev was the most celebrated sniper in Stalingrad, but Chekhov,Medvedev,Abzalov and others were also famous, just not quite as much as Zaitsev ;) Its interesting to note that Vasily Chuikov had a secret competition with Sasha Rodimtsev - Chuikov would try to make Zaitsev the most famous while Rodimtsev would try to get Chekhov more famous, to try and make their divisions better than the other

  • Yep he indeed made one for his rifle-im not sure how he did it though, but its possible-the Russian military had silenced .22 91/30 PU snipers post war for their police units i believe

  • In 1967

  • Was he a student of Zaitsev?

  • Im not sure if he was a student, but I do know they served with each other in Stalingrad and were good friends

  • They sure learned from each other , so in a way he was a student and a teacher at a same time ;)

  • i really want to meet some veterans of the eastern front nice vid.

  • I know someone in Estonia who told me that he was in the 8th Estonian Rifle Corps as a sniper.I dont know if its true , but i doubt he would have lied.

  • Recently on ebay they had a "Hero of the Soviet Union" medal for sale $10,000 that belonged to an Estonian sniper that fought in Red Army,he was credited with I believe 150 kills. i never knew until recently Estonians fought in Soviet forces

  • @SashaVedernikov Estonian with 150 kills ? Wow , thats cool! What was hes name ? :D

Yea , there were like 20 000 in soviet forces i think.Much bigger number were in german side. Its strange , but estonians on both sides hoped that if they help theyr side to win , then Estonia will be granted independence again.Neither chase that would have been a mere delusion.

  • then did u buy it?

  • I wish i could of,but it was too much money for me unfortunatley. it was interesting though, even came with photos of the sniper wearing it

  • Well, since Estonia was part of the USSR at that time, they would help in Soviet forces!

  • I still remember you were asking who is the man beside Zaitsev at 0:58 lol

  • huh? If he lost both of his legs why is he as tall as zaitsev? And what a sad thing, he died so young

  • lol well Vassili was only 5 ft 3 in height! ,I read Chekhov had wooden prostetic legs too.

I agree 44 is too young to go

  • lol how tall is 5 ft 3 inches? I don't know American metrics

  • All glory to these brave men.

    All the best from Spain.

  • At 0:54 it shows Anatoly meeting Vassili Zaitsev again after over 30 years. Before this meeting, Zaitsev thought Anatoly to have died in Stalingrad.

  • 5*****

  • Another great video, with some more great music!

  • great video do you have any from the german side or from the croats that served with the germans.

  • Awesome vid my friend!

  • He says" Night and day, the sniper Anatoly Chekhov, from Roditelskavoy Division, was following the Germans

  • ok yhank you sasha

  • Thanks for the nice video, glory to the heroes of Stalingrad.

  • Pretty video tovarisc. Fascinating story. 5 stars!

  • Thanks ! :D
