I Dream Theater sono grandi prorio perchè riescono a incorporare nella loro musica molte diverse influenze e stili musicali. I Metallica sono uno dei loro punti fermi di riferimento per il sound.

..Ma loro non si limitano solo al sound e sono alla continua ricerca di nuove musicalità che raggiungono atrraverso la continua sperimentazione. Non si può sperimentare se non si è padroni della tecnica e non si diventa padroni della tecinca se non si risuona mille volte lo stesso groove!

Quindi TECNICA + GROOVE = 100%ROCK!!
