  • thought he was saying assburgers :3

  • Approximately 1/9 of the people here took this message the wrong way.

  • I'm Daniel Anderson of Wickliffe Ohio and I have aspergers syndrome. A better way to explain the difference between real autism and aspergers is that aspergers is purely socialization-based and autism is more of that AND communication, and most people with aspergers become very successful, and you people that made fun of us or the disorder are surely having problems of your own. People like Albert Einstein make aspergers seem really good and what Alex said was true, I will not take a vaccine or

  • @mrdojob fuck up

  • lol assburgers

  • This is so interesting. Good explanation

  • The fuck you mean, "You People"?

  • What do you mean "You People"?

  • This is not an example of autism or "asberger syndrome".

  • like if you think he said " I have Ass Burgers"

  • i have assburgers i shit bacon burgers

  • It was wonderful to finally hear from someone who knows how it feels. thank you so very much Alex!

    -Kim H. A.

  • Aspergers is not autism - talk to a psychiatrist about it, they are the only ones authorized to diagnose autism. They know the truth

Confusing aspergers and autism is one of the ways the drug industry tries to hide the harm vaccines are doing to a growing number of children

Autism has been steadily rising for the past 20 years, aspergers has not

Vaccines have been rising also for the past 22 years

Dr Bernadine Healy says "Vaccines may cause autism". Her opinion is expert & relevant

  • I have aspergers as well. I want to go out with this girl but i'm afraid she and I have different maturity. Does anyone have any advice? Oh and I would tell her I do but you know high school girls, it would spread like wildfire and eventually the whole school would know.

  • dude, this is such a great video. i have this too and its affected my life since 4th grade. i honestly wish i could tell everyone ik about it, but b/c most of those ppl are still teens, theyll probably just laugh, gossip, and make fun of me. ive tried to make friends, but i really dont have any at all. i wish i was as bold as u are

  • Assburgers lol

  • This is my stepbrother<3 I love him dearly.

I remember, he was looking very hard for these bioshock figurines, and we could not find them anywhere, so I went into Toys R us with him, and I found them. It was the first time he hugged me

We got home, and I told his mom (My step mother Alyson) that he hugged me and she went "Really?"

Love you Alex! I have been watching that guy with the glasses all day.

  • And I like to comunicate with people who are like.. two years younger than me. I have close friends my age...I do watch cartoons SOMETIMES... I may think its boring, sometimes. I like playing with toys, not actually PLAYING, but dressing dolls up and decorate their homes. Maybe thats not that weird, cause I love to decorate..

Ive read that aspergers people are really intellegent and reothric, is that true?

I enjoy darkness, think light is annoying sometimes.

  • Oh my gosh, stuff that you said fits in on me.. I dont know if I'm just CREATING a problem of whats not there..

My dad says that I dont have any problems, that its just my selfesteem, that I just say I cant, but really I do, and I've noticed that myself, that I really can.

Could you have a little bit of aspergers?

Cause I learn really good from TV, and its hard to concentrate on text, much fitted in as i said..

But I feel alot for people and understand their feelings rly good.

  • I believe people with autism are sometimes considered pure hearted, people minding their own business and ANGELS! God bless you and all the children of God!

  • Exactly how I'd describe it. I have it, my little brother has it-- a heavier case according to my parents-- but the way my sister would describe it is that it's like talking to a computer, socially speaking. Unless it's pretty much black and white, I can't really understand what you're talking about. Or, how my dad would describe it if he was still around, you're socially crippled, but you're a genius.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! He just sayid "What I want" @ 7:17

  • you dont have aspie, you jsut wernt disciplined as a child and therefore never became mature. your just a loser kid who your momma spoiled you too much as a kid and never let you grow up. quit acting like a fucking little brat and man up.

  • Dude, I don't have asberger's and cartoons are all I watch

  • one of my best friends has aspergers and schizophrenia and he is a legend

  • oi doc arsepiece bugger the fuck off wanker shhesssshhhhhhhhhh what useless racist kunts you are;)

  • I have asperger's and... "Sees top comments" Wait...

  • Thanks, olinkalex. I have Asperger syndrome, and I'd really like people to learn that it's a legitimate disability and not just an excuse.

  • Jeremiah, his name; can play full version games like wheel of fortune(FAVORITE) jeopardy(not so good obviously) and yatzee. he is half Filipino/white but loves Latin music. he has figured out the remote and cable box so if given the chance he will input the channel of his desire. usually Latin music. pure genius is ways but like you stated his mind according to the Doctors is like a 6month old. Again i wanted to say your video was AWESOME! thank you for that.

  • Great video sir, i am a father of a 21 month old with Autism. The doc stated he is too young to classify his type, but atleast i know where his mind may be. He seems perfectly normal. He does not talk, or respond to his name(s) loves effection. Thats all he does thats not normal for his age group. Please i would greatly appreciate it if you could tell me about your habits. example: stimming, spinning etc. At 16 months he was able to fully access our PC and now at 21 months has his own IPAD.

  • I am a girl who got diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome when I was three years old. Now that I am fourteen, I still find myself crying about it quite often. I hate it so much, I want to be like everybody else. It is impossible to express how badly I yearn for this. though I know i'm the way I am is because God made me that way, I still have trouble accepting it.

  • great video man, im just like you there is a small group of us with aspergers after all but were hard to find, I have been known to have the maturity of a 30 year old when I was 14 so I didnt have any friends because of how immature they all were, but i also have that childhood side, hense my name disneyfan lol, love those movies, and spongebob, etc, whats worst is the sensitive hearing, but i have no problem reading, im 18 now and in university

  • Wht a wonderfull way to explain it !

  • i might make a video response of this. you never know.

  • thanks for sharing this video.

  • Its like Limbo

  • this is great! i have mild but not fully

  • Thank you for sharing this. I know 2 people with asbergers and this has helped me to better understand them. Thanks.

  • there is autism, asperger and dyslexia and iv heard that you can have:

    autism and asperger

    dyslexia and asperger

    dyslexia and autism

but other people can have the 3 of em, my mom works with asperger people and knows a girl that is suposed to have all of them. please tell me if im wrong

  • I have Asperger and i'm dyslexic too. I am left handed. In all these years i didn't know what's wrong with me, or with others. I had a lot of troubles in school and i suffered a lot. Nobody told me about asperger, now i realise i have to deal with it. It is a shock for me. I didn't understand why nobody understands me and judge me... i'm so sad. Is hard to be different

  • i wish you the best. =)

  • I don't know anyone with Asperger's and I have only heard of it, but never really understood it. I think you're video is brilliant with explaining, especially with the analogies and images that you use. You're an incredible young man and I wish you all the best! I'm sure there's a lot of immature people on YouTube who would make offensive or unnecessary comments, but you'll always get losers like that I guess. Just know that what you've done is awesome and very helpful. Good luck!

  • asperger is the bomd and makes me the person i am :P

  • ANDY MILONAKIS HAS ASPERGER'S ?! SHIT!!!

  • I help children with autism and other special needs all over the world. Visit my site by typing in alisonwimmer in google. It will not let me post my link here.....

  • Respect!

  • Ass-burgers, hahahahahaha. sounds like it :P lol

  • this video is top notch.

  • I have 2 autistic friends and they r so nice and I am good friends with them.

  • I have Asperger's too, and I watch this video alot and show it to alot of people, because I think this is a perfect way to explain it.. I agree that it's High Functioning Autism, but I like the way you say it's like being half autistic. I really do love this video(:

  • Weak

  • I enjoyed your video. I, too, have Asperger's and can relate to you on this. Great job!

  • @miked31784 Stopp it!! Don't encourage the disabled. You are giving them false hopes for the future! The special olympics are there just to make fun of retarts and retarteds sons. Don't support it guys!! :)

  • It seems as though you have somewhat of a limited understanding of Asperger's Syndrome. You are explaining to us an over-simplified descrption of AS. Having AS is not being "half autistic", AS is like a mild form of HFA (High Functioning Autism). How do I know this? Well I am 13 years old and have Asperger's Syndrome.

  • Tell me about it man! I got this problem to yo!

  • Alot from watching this I found, not only found on a thread link on thatguywiththeglasses . com, has reiterated some familiar signs I've seen in my myself. Not fitting in with any types of groups be it mainstream 100% nor "outsider" 100%, which is why I describe myself as being an "Inbetweener". Also how some loud noises effect me more than other that make me easily upset or angry. I have more to say but the comments have a word limit. Maybe I need to write or post a video about my experience.

  • Thank you. You explained it very well. I too am an Aspie.

  • @Logistica11735 ok let me break it down for you i said people who have aspergers may find your joke as an insult and i aint even tryin' to insult you tbh cuz your insults are unoriginal and you obvs heard it off others and i was only statin' that it aint pernoused like ass-burger and you took it out of content and started with your foolish insults and you said it certain people with aspergers people find it funny but that still dont make it right =/

  • @Blaze187Killa Hey you don't have to worry about this loser, I've Blocked him.

  • @olinkalex noproblem makin' fun of aspergers like its a funny joke to have when rly it aint

  • @Logistica11735 not rly im not arguein' for the english im arguein' bout ur stupid and ignorant comments u may see this as a joke but what im sayin' is for ppl who have the syndrome it would not be funny and the only monkey here is you fool and like i said this is the internet i dont have to type in a manner thats good for college or uni so why should i to ppl like you who would find it hard to read actual english langage cuz i have to dumb it down for ur kind im afriad

  • @Logistica11735 wrong this aint skool so i can spell in text and fyi im english and we speak actual english not english american so whose english is truely not real? english obviously

and as for jokes its usually funny when everyone else finds it funny but i dint see no ha ha's from the comment u made plus u was the one who was actin' like a fool and started usin' unoriginal jokes thats been used like 1000's of times before u made the "joke" yeah its real funny usin' stuff ppl have already used

  • @gojiraddict687 no offence to u man but this guys makin' americans look bad with his childish and retarded behavior this arguements strictly for that fool or anyone who takes the piss out of ppl with disabilitys cuz i dont find it too funny i find it insultin' tbh

  • @Logistica11735 immature fool..

  • @Logistica11735 i guess im right and u rly eat arse burgers? ok man and u judge others with your unoriginal jokes and ur askin' ppl to shit u out food? u eat toilet food?

  • @Logistica11735 wow how ignorant are u seriously? you talk like you know shit when rly u dont the only shit you can talk about is that brown stuff that comes from your mouth clown i mean rly u come on this and call ppl cuz they got a disability? are u for real insultin' in a way that is just unoriginal and a joke that was obivious yeah your really funny :'D (sarcasm)

  • @Logistica11735 I always thought it was funny; like it just figures that a group of people who lack a good amount of social prowess (correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure most people with Asperger's got bullied pretty bad in some way at some point in their lives.) have their disorder named after a guy whose name is pretty laughable.

For people who have little knowledge about it I just call it high functioning autism.

  • @Logistica11735 ok..... but that aint explained nuffin' except that u stated ur immature and lifeless and a douchebag

  • @Logistica11735 what is ?

  • @Logistica11735 its named after the guy who discovered it and it aint purnoused ass-burgers thats just how the americans purnous the symdrome in a stupid way :/

  • No one questions that vaccines damage children (immune, neurological, gastrointestinal)

The argument is over what kind, how severe & how many

2008 CBS News, Dr Bernadine Healy said "Vaccines may cause autism" & "It's inexcusable the proper research has not been done"

Statistics is the WRONG research. Long term clinical study is needed

Dr Healy is a former NIH Director, Johns Hopkins Professor of Med, Chair of The Cleveland Clinic Research Institute

Her opinion is expert & relevant

  • @skam741

Saying vax may cause autism is not saying "the sky is green"

Vaccines are given to almost all kids in USA

    Since 1988-

Vax makers can't be sued for damage vax are known to cause (NCVIA)

Cheaper mfg added more & new toxins while prices & profits rose

Shots have TRIPLED, autism climbed from 4 kids out of 10,000 to 132 kids out of 10,000

Google- MMR "Package insert" -5 pages of side effects & warnings incl DOZENS of brain injuries admitted by Merck to be associated with MMR

  • @michael0156

Perhaps you're right. I suppose I really don't know enough about the vaccine side of the story to make any kind of opinion about it; I'm really just speaking out of all I heard about the vaccine idea being "disproven" and "conspiracy against med companies" etc etc. Which is stupid on my end. My question then is, why isn't every child autistic? What makes a child more susceptible to vaccine "poisoning" than others, and how does this poisoning exactly work?

  • @skam741 MERCK says MMR is associated with 5 pages of side effects, warnings, precautions

Seizures, convulsions, encephalitis, immune disorders (Diabetes is 1 of several) & MUCH MORE. Merck claims it isn't proved MMR is the cause, but w/o another apparent reason it warns MMR may be the cause

According to HRSA, parent org of the FDA, MMR is proved to cause seizures & immune disorders in some kids. No one knows why

Google- nellco autism - 83 kids paid for vax brain injury also developed autism

  • @skam741 You asked "Why isn't every child autistic?". Why didn't everyone die during the bubonic plague in Europe? The majority survived the "Black Death", just as the majority survive smallpox. It depends on your immune system, which is affected by nutrition, toxins & genes

MMR contains live virus that causes an infection. Some kids' immune systems are not able to detect or destroy the virus

In these kids MMR (or any live vaccine) can cause disability or death

More vax = more kids injured

  • @michael0156 so asperger's is caused by a virus? why haven't we found "asperger's causing virus" particles in affected teens? Or rather, since the vaccines are for known illnesses, how come neither adults nor children who have these actual viruses do not "contract" asperger's?

  • @skam741 Asperger's is not autism. The cause of Asperger's is unknown. It is considered a Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) in the DSM-IV and is a SEPERATE diagnosis from Autism as is Rett's (a known genetic disorder that kills almost all boys born with it), Childhood Disintegrative Disorder (CDD) (considered by most psychiatrists now to be late-diagnosed autism), Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS) a catch-all for PDD not fitting the other 4 diagnoses

  • @skam741 Asperger's Rett's CDD & Autism are SEPERATE diagnoses in the DSM-IV. The category they are classified in is Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD). The American Psychiatric Association (APA) plans on changing that in DSM-V & Asperger's-Autism-CDD will ALL be autism

The APA also plans to eliminate the word "regression" from any autism diagnosis. The obvious reason for this is to deny regression occurs & say kids are born disabled

Regression is evidence kids become injured after birth

  • @skam741 ignore the fool it is part of autism this guy dont know shit the way u can get aspergers is in your genes or the genes can skip a generation so no its not a virus u cant catch it and then get rid of it like a cold its there for life the only way it can be past down is frew DNA :/ simple

  • @Blaze187Killa I was simply curious to hear what he had to say :)

  • @skam741 yeah parts of what he says is wrong in sum statements of it i mean it dont make u a geek if u have it it can make ppl think ur different but not all act geek like i kinda compere it to how squall is in final fantasy 8 dependin' on the person cuz some can be very very monotoned

  • It's interesting, I wonder if it is possilbe to "grow out" of aspergers. I am a girl and was diagnosed with it many years ago, for girls it is "milder", less obvious, and though unlike majority of people, interacting "normally" does not come naturally to me, I am introverted at heart, but I have learnt to properly socialise over time, and since noone knows I have aspergers I am treated normally though before I learnt social skills, I was very antisocial and often accidentally came across as rude

  • @sillychick123

It may be ultimately milder for girls, but I'm pretty sure it just depends on individual cases. A friend of mine, a boy, has a fairly similar story to your own, very mild and ended up growing out of it for the most part. Also a former classmate, a girl, very severe (but not fully autistic) and will probably never fully be able to thrive in a social environment of any kind.

  • at the end of the day, they're just names. we are who we are with or without a name for it, just as much as a moth is going to keep on being what it is no matter what we call it; it's just convenient to have names for things.

  • There is no such thing as that, that is AS and Asperger's is a way to judge people and make for judgemental people to make money off of this lie.

  • In my opinion that AS and Asperger's is all a bunch of fucking bull shit that some judgemental Nazi had pulled outta his ass to make him self look like he discovered something. But this is all to judge other people, yet everone is fucking different in this world. That is a crook of shit.

  • @BigJ782011 I have asperger's syndrome and i think what you are saying is simply wrong. Up until i was 17 i could feel i was different to other people but didn't know how, i look at a list of symptoms for Asperger's syndrome and mentally tick boxes, it's all stuff that happened to me. If you don't have Asperger's you'll never understand and i suppose you'll think every one of us is making it up. Oh and another thing, this response isn't emotionally charged, i'm just debating.

  • @youwhatyoulose I don't think you guys are making it up. I think it is people judging other people that differ from them. Judgemental people like that are really messed up for judging you guys. Keep in mind that everyone is different and they may not have anything wrong with them.

  • @BigJ782011 Ah okay i see, i thought you meant its entire existence is a crock of shit, i understand now. You make a good point, i myself logically accept that i'm not inferior, however i have confidence issues and was bullied quite badly, sometimes i feel a bit of my soul died away or something. That's life though! Gotta fight battles constantly.

  • @youwhatyoulose That is why I believe this syndrome is all bull shit and that is a way to judge a cretin group of people. I feel sorry for all you guys you are just being judged.

  • @BigJ782011 Then what we must do is clear. Asperger's people must stand up and show everyone we can do something good if we're in the right environment. I'm more concerned with bullying from other children to be honest.

  • @youwhatyoulose If it wasn't for you guys the Atom bomb might be faily new today, pokemon woun't be around, the computer might not be as revolutionary. This classifying and judging people is all a bunch of fucking bull shit. Those people that judge are all jellous of some talent that people have that differs from them. And if they are like that they have major profound problems and need to see someone for that. That mean there is something wrong with judgemental people judging you guys.

  • @BigJ782011 Very true words. It sounds very cliche but i think as long as we can do something good to change the world even a tiny bit then we don't have anything to worry about, life is all about purpose and some people just want to stop you finding yours, but once you do find it and you get recognised nobody can laugh at you, everybody respects Einstein's achievements, for instance.

  • @youwhatyoulose I bet that asshole that made up made up that Syndrome was jellous of someone that was better than he was, so he made a judgement on him and know the whole fucking world know classifieds a group of people know. Asperger's is just a way to judge smart people (nerd/ geeky people usually) because they are ignorant and envious of you guys. There is always gonna be a way to judge anyone in a negative way, and I mean everyone.

  • @BigJ782011 Do you have asperger's? You seem focused on the negative side to being labeled, which is something asperger's people tend to do, focus on one area, i know cause i do it myself and can be quite negative, however i see the good side to being labeled, sometimes they just wanna explain why we're awkward in social situations, you know? I don't think everybody using the name on us wants to show a bad light.

  • how I was planned to be.

  • I know how u feel dude, I have aspergers too. Everything u just explained is exactly what I would have said if I explained myself. Although sometimes I do wish I could cure my Aspergers, but the other half of me knows that is wrong because this is how I'm made and

  • Craig Nichols' of the Vines has Asperger's. The band broke up for awhile because of his on-stage antics, like yelling at the audience and trashing equipment. He even damaged the set of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and was thrown off the show. I guess different people react different ways to the condition.

  • I know this is immature, but I can't help but laugh when I hear 'Asbergers'. Oh my gawd. *facepalm*

  • I see. So because they don't outwardly appear autistic, people just think they're being "bratty" when they want their way (music, tv)

  • Nice Vid!

  • I dont think there is anything autistic about your behavior. You not inhibited from explaining things you are interested in, and mostly all of the examples your explaining are things alot of people act like and experience. I fit in to many or almost all of the catogorys your explaining, but im not autisitc. You just enjoy being introverted and you like the things you like. Thats really about all.

  • @thevisi0naryy Honey that's exactly what Asperger's is. I also have Asperger's and no one would look at me, or a person with Asperger's and think that they are autisitc. Asperger's is more like "nerd or geek syndrome/" They are normal just seem shy, introverted and sometimes obsessive. But they are also very smart and make good friends

  • @TheGordogringo yeah i really dont believe in aspergers being a disorder

  • @thevisi0naryy Fair enough, I understand and I know that a lot of people that don't believe it but the fact is that it's true. it is a very real disorder and has very real symptoms

  • @TheGordogringo I dont believe social abnormalities merits a disorder, further on i believe in a big disctinction between what is considered a mental and physical disorder. Retardation is a disorder, with observable physical abnormalities. Things refered to "mental disorders" or things like depression and anxiety, and in this case aspergers, i believe are mis managed and disorganized emotional and thought patterns, all controllable with an educated mind.

  • @thevisi0naryy True, not everyone who is socially awkward has Asperger's but the disorder is in the fact that people with Asperger's are unable to read and understand body languages - that IS a disorder, however a mild one that comes across as a nerdy or geeky person who is a social misfit.

In terms of education yes Aspies can manage and learn social skills thus controlling the symptoms.

  • @thevisi0naryy That's why Aspeger's is so misunderstood, because it's a form of autism that is so high-functioning that its pretty much invisible

  • He is just an asshole... My best friend has assburgers and they would not set themselves up like this to be judged by the public. Either he is just a virgin desperately in need of Zoloft or as i pointed out earlier...an asshole. Maybe even a nerd.

  • @Darkelf5677 whats wrong with being a nerd?

  • @ealoseum Everything....

  • I like the way you explain and

I also like the way you are :)

  • Assburgers?

  • @pyromanizak it's not assburgers. That's the common mispronounciation of the word. Asperger Syndrome, or more commonly known as Aspergers, was discovered by Dr Asperger from austria. All aspies call it assburgers for a little while. Even normal people think of it as assburgers first I would know, I have the disorder myself. But the truth is, it's not assburgers. It's Aspergers.

  • @themaskedhacker But my doctor said I had Assburgers...

He prescribed me a shower lol

  • Nice Video! ;)

  • It's the pitiful people the continue to degrate those whom they do not understand. All of those who have decided to beat on this child for telling his half of the story need a good slap. There is no reason to be so rude and unkind. My husband has aspergers, and I can look at him and tell him every day how much i love him and how he is. I wouldn't want him to change. I don't want him to be what you pathetic people call "normal" He is better than all of you. And this child had the guts to explain

  • @GoingRawringBackL8r what his life is like. You dont' understand, and you don't make an effort to do so. Stop being mindless pigs. Be human beings. Or shut up.

  • You really are a poor, useless excuse for a human being, you know that? You wouldn't take the cure for Asperger's, given the opportunity? Really? Are you so pathetic that you've defined your entire life around having this illness? And yet, you would like "us people" to treat you with the respect you "deserve." People with Asperger's deserve the same amount of respect as anyone else, not any more [as you clearly implied], but YOU deserve no respect; clearly, you have a huge sense of entitlement.

  • @Swolf943 Hater?

  • @Swolf943 very true

  • Damn you have ass burgers brah? thats fucking gross man throw em in the garbage. SHITS UNSANITARY!

  • Fantastic video. Helps us with the diagnose explain it better to friends when the time comes for us to feel safe enough to tell em. Thank-you

  • It's weird, you had a few grammatical errors, yet I understood what you meant 100% I watched the whole video out of respect, I respect you Alex. Nice going!

  • Thank you Alex for your video! :)

  • with books i agree with you,this is why i read very rare,instead i like videos,audio tapes,radio.

at school i was never the best at learning but in the fileds that i liked(chemistry, history and english in gymnasium)i was one of the best,in high school i liked psychology, english, history and computer technology.

i also had an "endless" amount of hobbies from politics and religion to parapsycology, law and astronomy

  • when i read(different stuff)i sometimes have to re-read a sentance over and over because i don't understand it in the first time.

i made 2 AQ tests,at the first i scored 34 at first and 35 at the second that i made few days ago.please tell me what shoult i do.

i have almost 21 years old and some of my hair is white,i have headaches very often from some music or different sounds,i often get obssessed with a hobby and after a whilte i simply "dump" it.

btw i like Tom and Jerry ALOT! :D

  • I have aspergers too

  • But Im VERY shy, unsociable, and isolatedd. Im akward, clumsy, and have a LOT of symptoms of Aspergers.

Last month I put money into the bank for the first time and I was so nervous and scared I burst into tears!! I dont even know why! Then I got super embarresed so I looked like a sweating tomatoe! D:

  • @Peeku3 That might Be social anxiety disorder.

  • This helped me a lot. Thank you.

I have a question though. Do all people with Asperger's have problems with reading and school?

Because Im a very advanced in reading and school. Im going into highschool this year but in 8th grade I had 12th grade equivilency. =/

  • i got asperger too, and a type that is more severe then asperger... i cant lie, look people in the eyes, hate to get hugged, can memorize stuff that happened 6 years ago even if its not important, i have a hard time expressing my emotions, but i am still being called a genius in my family, and go to a normal school

my mom told me: every form of autism is different

    so that covers my autism

  • I want to thank you for sharing this!! i have 2 kids with aspbergers and i have a touch of it myself. this is one of the best explanations i have ever heard. THANK YOU

  • Thank you for your video Alex. It was very helpful to me,

  • Alex is a very great, awesome boy!

  • Alex, than you for your video. I showed it to MY Alex (LOL) who is 10 and has been diagnosed with AS. As I always tell him... it's not a disability... it's a different-ability. Normal, with a twist,. Great minds are minds of AS... look at Bill Gates, Al Gore,Isaac Newton, Daryll Hannah, Temple Grandin, Dan Akroyd.... to name a few. Keep up the good work! And let's continue to bring awareness about AS.... that's all we can do. We don't need a "cure" since it's not a decease. Just understanding.

  • i like playgrounds and im 21, does that mean im autistic too?

  • Well I don't consider myself to hav As nor my family, still we do watch cartoons all the time. Just saying that watching cartoons is not so terrible :)

  • YO CAN I GETZ A BURGER?

  • @OnlineGamingx Dick. Not cool.

  • YOU PEOPLE

  • Pardon me, but what about him makes you so angry as to post such hateful comments?

I have Aspergers. Do you dislike me just because of that? If so, why? Go on, articulate it.

  • @olinkalex You have me. =] You have me as a friend.im 100000000000000000000% serious.always count on me.

  • i meet one of you guys once im sorry but i was about to snape his neck

  • @SuperPunchbag I apologize for whatever he did that made you feel that way, but he probably didn't mean to do it, and you shouldn't think that we all act the same way as was implied by "I met one of you guys' . We are all very different, and I'm not trying to be hateful like many other teenage girls my age, but I would ask if you could please not talk to us like we are a bunch of cardboard cut outs. We are not all exactly alike as is the stereotype, we just have similar mindsets

  • @SuperPunchbag Snape? You must not have patience. That kindof depressing..

  • what about adhd

  • great video!

  • prick

  • why would u say that

  • Very interesting!! :D

  • hate to break it to you but you were lied to. anybody who says they can detect aspergers at age 6 is abusing their position as a respected authority on what is true about the human mind. you are clearly a normal person, like so many others diagnosed with aspergers. having a mature side and a childish side is so mundane and normal a trait in human beings that pathologizing it is absurd.

  • My boyfriend's elder brother has Aspergers and I've found it a little difficult to understand. This video's been really helpful ^_^

    xx

PS Your animation is pretty impressive =)

  • I find this highly inspirational.

  • Thank you for sharing this video, it really helps me understand my two children who have Autism and their seemingly naughty, or rude behavior. You explain it so well, I am now going to be more mindful of those things. My kids both learn best from the computer and t.v. best. Best wishes.

  • i watch spongebob; i'm 16, and i'm not autistic or anything.

  • @justinmulli Lol then your a fucked up kid dont watch American cartoons they are fucking trash

  • @oystein127 no; i'm not fucked up, and they're entertaining.

  • @justinmulli Compared to Japanese cartoons they are trash

  • @oystein127 except japanese cartoons aren't funny, unlike spongebob. it's a whole different category

  • Me to :D

  • the slightest attention why because it isnt a reson...for lack of a better word to act like you and i understand the mind of assburgers because i have it and when i said if my child was born with autisim im speaking of assburgers but this is all just my opinion and it is all irrelevant.

  • ok i have autisim and im sorry but it dosnt enpede me at all you may be autistic but your using it as an excuse juz to be lazy and no im not being mean and just because you cant read and or spell dosnt mean anything it just means you cant read and or spell and that "autistic people cant lie".........:| really cus i can lie perfiktlu well im not trying to be mean but face it....autisim is an excuse to be lazy cus yur skared to do anything and if i have a child with autisim i would pay it the
