I love them all - Krupa, Anita O'Day, Roy Eldridge... but here, the Eldridge solo sounds to me like he's doing all of Louis Armstrong's tricks (phrasing, etc) but not as well as Armstrong. Your thoughts?

Let me guess: 1941 Big Band Gothic! Did I get it right? LOL! Incidentally, I have no interest in modern Gothic rock, but for those who are "still in their teens", when was the original Gothic rock? It was 1959: "Rocking In The Graveyard" by Jackie Morningstar. And it's got a killer guitar riff in it. And now, back to my easy chair.
