  • I ace all my programming stuff at college too, 100%... hmmm.

  • @Traceguy I think the point was he was clearly in his element. But that is just my take.

  • @HowToBecomeTV Yeah. I'm just saying that I may have found my calling as well. Compared to my other class mates, I am excelling in programming.

  • "you come with nothing and you leave with nothing, so you might as well risk it all" I love that. Thanks dude. Very inspiring.

  • @Hydrefyricon Love that quote!

  • My right ear enjoined it!

  • good job dude, this vid is my inspiration

  • @Neokusp Great to hear it!

  • Did it ever come to you, that being a software developer is the best job in the world? Do you know why it is the best job in the world? Its because you can do anything...I mean anything.

  • @2the9s1 Someone has clearly found their passion! ;)

  • @HowToBecomeTV you have no idea :)

  • @HowToBecomeTV Well... (blushing)

  • @2the9s1 ;)

  • sounds interesting though I can't afford to go to college.

  • @FloridaRaider College is not the end all and be all. Try the codeacademy to start!

  • uh the tables have kinda turned, the demand for software developers is falling like crazy. Programmers are out programming themselves.

  • @EnrichedGamer Are you a coder yourself? What would you suggest wannabes do to be more competitive? Thanks!

  • holy crap this dude is inspirational!

  • Left ear, listening to documentary, right ear, listening to spanish birthday music.

  • Very helpful! Thanks

  • The most piss poor description of OOP I've ever heard!

  • @kalekold Please share yours. People might like to hear it.

  • @HowToBecomeTV Jeez, just read about it on wikipedia or the hundreds of full books on the subject. It's a bit more in depth than just "You can write some code and call it an object and access that from anywhere in the program"! At best this is inaccurate and at worse it's just plain wrong!

  • @kalekold Noted & thank you. Nonetheless, the purpose of this video is not to give a full definition of OOP. I will find a source for this and provide in the show notes though.

  • a) Say you graduated from a foreign university that doesn't actually exist

    b) Falsify a work history

    c) Apply for visa

  • Me likee

  • For the love of god put the recorded audio in stereo :) Duplicate the left track to the right. It will make the video much more viewable.

  • @wearurheart I apologize. Our other videos have better sound. Thanks for the advice though. I appreciate it!

  • @HowToBecomeTV Cool :) Glad you got it sorted. Sorry if I came off harsh, didn't mean to!

  • @wearurheart Not at all. I just didn't know what I was doing 18 months ago. ;)

  • @HowToBecomeTV what if we dont have degree but spended some years for learnign it whti a hope? whatst he percent to get into a good job?

  • @iiperento It would be difficult to get a paying job as a developer without formal training these days, but not unheard of. Consider some intensive short term courses that will help you get a entry level job faster rather than having to spend full 4 year degree. Just a thought.

  • @HowToBecomeTV Well what if i manage to have some good rpoblem solving skills and etc but whithotu a degree. The thing i most wonder is, do bosses watch the skill level of the guy or the degree? tnx

  • @iiperento If a degree is not possible for you, continue to work like Fernando says and gain the experience. Update your skills as you move along and your opportunities will come. Best of luck to you!

  • @HowToBecomeTV Thanks for answers and the motivation you throw here. Thanks!

  • @iiperento Keep at it long enough and it will come. =)

  • @ItzMeCasey Yes, thank you for the heads up. We've improved since then.

  • Hi, I know i have been bit clumsy with my remarks guys but come on those who did, didnt had to take it that seriously, lol..

  • Very well done, i'm an inspiring software engineer and this video furthered my interest my in this field. Keep up the good work!

  • thanks u for this video!

  • @itspennysboat Your welcome...more coming asap!

  • all was well, except for that being a latino crap, so in the end he was just another mexican shit like those enrriques out there

  • @marxraven Fernando & his family were exiled from his home country due to political persecution. His parents went from enjoying wealth and leadership to having nothing here in Canada and having to work minimum wage jobs just to survive. In few short years he became fluent in English and became one of the best developers a business could hope for. His employer loves him, I know because I asked her! Don mess with the Latino James Bond! ;)

  • @marxraven Educate yourself and listen. He's from Venezuela. And he apparently he uses better grammar than you do. And besides....if you lived in Mexico you probably be finding a way out of there too. You shouldn't judge people until you are in the situation. And I'm betting that your ancestors came from a different country as well. So a majority of us are immigrants in one form or another. Learn to live with it or be bitter for the rest of your life. Your choice.

  • @tsolorio3001 Set 'em straight. =)

  • @HowToBecomeTV I certainly try but that itself is a full-time job. ;-)
