those of us who are serious speedskaters also wonder this!!
Long track is a bit like soccer or watching dragsters, in the sense of that its a complicated, acquired taste.
Short track, however, is absolutely thrilling, and can be enjoyed by pretty much everyone.. and its amazing to me that it's not on TV... absolutely stunning that its not on TV

although I am not an athlete, I do enjoy watching winter sports. I would like to know if anyone as an answer, why the sport of long & short track skating is ralely if ever telivized, but if you want you can watch 14 days of poker....

you are welcome... I truly love this sport, I've raced every kind of skating, ice & inline, sprints & marathons, indoor, outdoor, etc..
and the only thing that is an equal feeling with racing well, is doing new technology stuff that shares that rush with others.
