I found that the clutch in mine was having trouble engaging on the clutch bell, so I removed the clutch bell and roughed up the inside a bit with some sandpaper to help the clutch engage...problem solved...

Your fuel is alright, you probably have a yoke that is stripped, or a diff.

Hold 3 wheels and spin the last, do that for each wheel, if something spin you will see where is the problem, dont apply too much force or you will strip the diff... lol

You will easily se if something is stripped

thats because yours is leaner. theirs is richer because of cold weather.

I just got one and the throttle is kind of delayed I pull the trigger all the way back and it takes a second to start really going.

Mine does the same thing, but you have to just let it warm up a little longer. After about a 1/4 tank to like 1/2 tank it starts driving alott better. You can also use a hotter glow plug in colder weather, it helps alott too.

Mine also does this thing, when I have the throttle all the way down it will be go at a high rpm then like 2 seconds later it go even higher.

Try leaning it out a little bit more, it sounds like it flooding a little bit. But I might be wrong, if it doesnt work then just richen it up and see how it runs then. Just remember to tune it when the motor is nice and hot otherwise you will be tinkering with it all day long.

Thye engine is so small and so not powerful i did 3 or 4 tank break-in and then begin to tune for power. Still run conservative for a tank or 2 after the break-in though :)

I run a picco p-zero now wich have lot more power and never stripped the spur, id say your right you need to have a good gear mesh.

May be stock on front shock tower, if you land on it good chance it will break, other than that its not too bad if you stay with the stock engine. :)

thanks for the tips mine runs now! just needs tuning. im using the traxxas 33% fuel. it didnt like the 20% i run in my other stuff

how'd you get it idleing so well, mine creeps and if i idle it down the engine just dies. my 30% blue thunder fuel also gunks up in my exhaust

too much brake are applied on factory setting when idling, the clutchshoes tend to engage at low rpm, and if the brake are applied it will make the engine to stall. Just make sure it dont brake on idle. :)

if fuel is in your exhaust then you should take it off, clean it, and set the high speed needle more lean

if i lean my high speed needle my chaos always, always over heats even if I barely lean it, i switched gas to 25% which it dosen't gunk up any more but it also is harder to keep running?

thought I'd try the picco p-0 so there is better adjustment getting it soon

Yes cold, i primed it a little until the nitro get into the carb.

JB weld the center diff to get 4 wheel breaks. Hacksaw file and drill can make most of the parts your self out of aluminum. Shock towers are the most important.
