Well, I suppose Hammer is my favorite. In this game, during its time, it was better and more needed than sword because I don't remember any ropes that needed to be cut.

Ball is maybe one of the most powerfull ability in this game. seriously, you can kill mr. bright with just two attacks!

It's been years since I last played this game and I never realized at how many abilities Kirby had in this game exactly. On a side note my personal favorites are Sleep, Ball, and of course U.F.O. XD

My 3 Favorites: 1. Hi-Jump (loves to jump high), 2. Parasol (if I can beat you up with an umbrella, I will do it), 3. Cutter (can throw multiples at once, good long range weapon).

My 3 Least Favorites: 1. Sleep (really???), 2. Ball (this isn't even a weapon), 3. Beam (waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too slow).

Most Overrated: Wheel (really hard to control at times)

Most Underrated: Stone (makes Kirby impervious to attack and easy to use)

you missed the UFO in the very first level. There's a secret door in that waterfall that takes your to a room where you run into a UFO.

Yes, LOL. It's a good way to get the best copy ability in the very first level, however the sucky thing it, you can only use UFOs on the level you aquired the copy on...:-/

Yep, Kirby's Adventure could have as well been a SNES game. It had advanced graphics and sound qaulities for an NES game and it was released in 1993, the final year for NES games but one year before the SNES peak year. They should have ported Kirby's Adventure to both the NES and SNES, and maybe gave the SNES version more features like more copy abilities or more stages in Vegetable Valley and Ice Cream Island and more mini-games.

Fireball is my favorite ability in this game. I love to bounce off of walls and fly into enemies. The other abilities I like are Needle, freeze, spark, laser and UFO.

Similarly to ringtheding fifteen's comment, I noticed, from this video, how entirely similar the game mechanics of the NES Kirby's Adventure are to the GBA's Nightmare in Dreamland's. I find it surprising that the abilities are exactly as plentiful, and that the mechanics and colors of the star rod boss look perfect, made exactly in both. I've never played the original Kirby's Adventure, but I'd have to say that it looks more advanced than most NES games I've seen or played. Amazing game.

Best is Tornado cuz when i was like 6 years old i couldn't beat dedede, so i went and got the tornado and he was SO easy with it.

Actually the only thing I remember about this game IS the tornado, and I wanted to get the "kirby game I played when i was 6" on wii but didn't remember what it was called so I watched this video to see if it had the tornado and it has so THIS is that game I played. And will play on my wii thx to VC ^^

I miss that game. Back drop was always my favorite. UFO was cool, bit it was such a bitch to try to find one and hold onto the power. As soon as I find one, I lose it. My best bet was to get a mix and hope for the best.

It sure was a long time I played THIS. I managed to finish it somehow, took some time but I did it. Ohh I also finished Nightmare in Dreamland BEFORE finishing Adventure so I was surprised that it was the same game.
