  • @gospellin thank you for posting this song on youtube. Me and my niece who grew up together always sing this version and i am glad i finally found it. We use to sing this in the choir when we were like 7 or 8 years old.

  • I actually grew up in Chicago and Milton Brunson played this on his radio show every Sunday morning. Then I moved to Philly and became friends with and married one of Gabe's drummers, Reggie Mack! Who knew?

  • i was in kindergarten when this came out, but i knew the words and the melody. i"m from Philly so i feel extra special when i hear this song. lol. this is a classic and still one of my all-time favorites. i literally grew up on this.
