  • cooooooooool V nice

  • 8:51 sparks, rear disc brakes.

  • my dream car but they r so dam expesnive!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @tonychet2s Not really.. depends what you think is expensive. You can get a decent one for 55-60k if you look good enough.

  • Anyone know the name of the commentator?

  • Goes to show that no matter what car you have, it's all about driver skill.

  • on the old nsx type R at 8:51 the brakes are glowing and spitting out glowing brake dust :|

  • I think the updated one looks like an angry chipmunk

  • I've already seen this vid many times, and I just can't get enough of it. The NSX's sound and the way it drives is just addicting.

  • that old guy needs some practice

  • at 2:40 he downshifts.. and what is he doing with his feet there...i want to know everything about that.. why, when and what is it good for ? and if u dont do it is it bad? :) is that Double clutching?

  • @superford500

he is match revving as he downshift

  • @superford500 It's heel and toe downshifting. Basically, while you are braking, you want to downshift while blipping the gas so that when you let out the clutch, the rpm matches and it's smooth, but you can't let go of the brake. So you twist your foot over to the gas and blip it and it looks like that.

  • @gansan00 question " if u dont do it ..is it bad will something break. . why is not normal downshift as good? " or is this just for smoothness? i need to talk to racers on the track IRL :D

  • @superford500 When you are braking super hard at the limit of your tires' traction, jerky steering or braking will cause them to go over their traction limit and you will slide. If you let out the clutch without matching rpm, the jerk from the engine braking will easily make the wheels lock up and you can spin or upset the car. The driver has to be super smooth because rough=spin. Nothing will break, but matching rpm does help save the clutch a bit.

  • @gansan00 sweet, cool explanation.. thx man ! XD

  • NSX Type S Zero in Circuit Blue Pearl has my favor.

  • no disrespect but the old man simple is not fast drver

  • hate the look.... its ugly! the original NSX looked fine just the way it was~!

  • NS(E)X

  • old guy cant drive

  • @CakeS2k

    u mean tsuchiya?

    ur an idiot lol

  • @crazyviolent69 ouch! what ever dude no matter what car they put him in he cant get a good launch off the line i dont give a shit who he is its not hard to go fast in a straight line

  • check the sparks on rear brakes on type-R!!! 8:55 +++

  • Damn, this guy is one hell of a driver!

  • white ones my fav

  • Can I infer that the NSX-R was left in the 1/4 mile THAT much due to a 5-speed gear ratio disadvantage???!

  • 13.2 is hella slow for a car that price......

  • @highflyer4 it's a decent time for a street car,my nissan altima coupe runs 13.2

  • @spencermel not really when most cars in its price range are low 11 second cars, cars 3 times less in price run faster.

  • @highflyer4 may I ask which models in that price range run 11's. Mclaren F1 (million dollars)runs 11's stock what else?

  • @spencermel well im not sure what the price of the new nsx is but the gtr runs 11.2, the Zr1 corvette runs low 11s high 10s, the new Mclaren mp4-12c runs 10.9(probably costs more since its at 200k), and lets just throw in a 30k mustang gt that runs 12.7 stock.

  • @highflyer4 new gtr run 11.8 and all those other 11 second cars you named are all over 100,000.nsx was 70,000 brand new.what models from that era ran 11's in same bracket and price as nsx?i dont think there were any.

  • @highflyer4 new gtr run 11.8 and all those other 11 second cars you named are all over 100,000.nsx was 70,000 brand new.what models from that era ran 11's in same bracket and price as nsx?i dont think there were any.oh yeah that mustang wild card,if i run my 25'000 alti coupe on c16 it will run 12.8 easily.i have the right injectors and ecu for it.

  • @spencermel well the Gtr is only 90k and does run 11.2 1/4 mile, done by motortrend in there review. Also if you take in to consideration inflation in the 70k price tag it would be well over 100k now. How much hp does a alti coupe put out? it will need close to 380 to go in the 12s with out drag radials, but i dont know much about that car so i guess i shouldnt comment.

  • @highflyer4 you did'nt name any cars from that era that run 11's that are "3 times less price but run 11's"and the altima has same motor as 350z.just different intake(cheaply aquired on ebay motors) and higher compression, you would'nt need 380 to run in 12's.more like around 320 to the wheels to run mid to high 12's which is decent because these nissan coupes are around 3200lbs and they handle so neutrally in turns because nissan makes their chassis very stiff.Plus equal length driveshafts.RARE.

  • @spencermel i meant 380 at the crank, so like 320 to the wheels :P, and holy 3200 pounds thats light might even need less hp.

  • @highflyer4 But you still have not named the cars that are"3 times less expencive but run 11's"than the $70,000 nsx.Mabey because there are none. :P

  • @spencermel i didnt say cars 3x less expensive run 11s i said cars 3x less expensive run faster then it. cars its own price run 11s.

  • @highflyer4 its the 1/4 mile time. Not the 0-60 time.

  • 'always love watching Tsuchiya driving an NSX. I could watch him all day. It's my happy place.

  • 1 person missed the like button

  • where is the NSX with the air intake that comes up to the roof of the car? which NSX is that?

  • @TheCityofGod lol none nsx.

i assume you mean a roof scoop? If so, you could get an nsx, spend 1k or less, and have and NSX - with the air intake that comes up to the roof of the car edition

  • @Nitrousx hes talking about the nsx r gt

  • @skatechronic wow i have never seen that before somehow. The scoop looks horrible imo.

  • @TheCityofGod NSX type R GT

  • I miss pop up headlights.

  • i dont think the drag test was that accurate. the driver may have had some affect on the performance. if each driver took turns driving each car the times may have been more comparable... BUT nonetheless another awesome video.

  • Love the music at 13:52 ^^ true Hot version style :D

  • this car is ten times better than a 911 in my opinion. i just wish it had more history and pedigree.

  • Honda needs to release the NSX again. toyota and Nissan are already in the supercar war. What the hell Honda?

  • @reign1222 They are.

  • Man these guys are like.... can tell the difference if the car has a stone chip stuck on the tyre or not by simply driving!

  • Flip-up headlights over anything everyday. 1st Gen NSX's and 3rd Gen Preludes are sex.

  • there's no way he's gonna bash this car. this is his favorite..

  • guys whats difference between honda NSX and Acura NSX ?

  • @Xzibitfreek it's basically the same, despite the fact that the Acura is/was sold on the american market and the Honda was sold in japan.

  • I like the grill front end on the new NSX. But I prefer the pop up headlights of the old one.

  • what a beautyfull day out there man

  • The new NSX jumped the mark in the first race!

  • wish i could drive like this man!

  • VTEC

  • 512 Video :)

  • bravo!!! this one's good !!! me also have the same though tsuchiya-san :p

  • sick cars i know these cars from the ps1 gran turismo :)

  • yes 15 min and the whole vid, this is what we have been asking for

  • YES MORE OF THESE

  • Dear Japan,

    sincerely,

    The English speaking world.

  • Wow the Type R's calipers grab HARD, check out the rear wheels at 8:47.

  • @Rawr454 holy shit yeah they do haha

  • it looks like hes wearing slippers haha

  • i want tsuchiya to test drive my 92 chrysler lebaron lol

  • Greetings from Sweden.

  • the old one looks better I think

  • @konholio2 yeah pop up headlights ftw

  • @michaelcromley Yeah!

  • @konholio2 I agree, gotta love that front end from all angles....

  • @konholio2 i agree

  • FUCKN LOVE THOSE CARS! <3

  • but the new one looks funky :O

  • subtitles would have been better than mr.monotone.

  • @poeticromance This video was made when BMI was dubbed rather than subbed. The later episodes have the subbed episodes... GT Channel is just nice enough to let us watch these for free (usually the DVDs are like 20 bucks).

  • They should rename this the NSX Channel. Not that I'm complaining :)

  • Obviously it's not the car it's the driver.

  • jeez gan san... slow start off the line at all the drag races

  • Is honda still making the NSX???

  • @Kurzland No they're not and they been made since 2003.

  • @Dunkelheit2s I meant to say haven't been made since 2003

  • @Kurzland yes they also still make the Honda S800

  • @giriphotography Which has one of the best crash rating today.

  • @Kurzland They haven't built one in 8 years.

  • @Kurzland they should... but if it comes to the states it'll be under "Acura" which to me is lame!!!!!!

  • sweet 3.2L V6 !!!!! V-TEC !!!!!

  • This is why I subscribed!

  • what a damn music with this video ! cant hear the speak

  • they needed to do the 1/3mile again 3 times each for the car with the same driver... Gansan is old.

  • Hell I don't care i just want one. :D

  • i would go with the old one.

  • finally some best motoring :)

  • niceeeee
