My preacher at my church lays hands on the sick all day long and he never asks for a dime. If you keep watching TBN you will be decieved but there are true genuine men of God out there that do not ask for people's money to let God heal them. I've been healed of several conditions through a ministry that doesn't put on shows and doesn't publicize its healings. We're told to "test the spirits" and that's what I'll do. Thanks.

I personally worked with the ministry behind the scenes and know that these healings are real. Jack Coe Sr. published a quarterly magazine "Herald of Healing' that featured strong medically verified healings. Todd Bentley, Benny Hinn and others refuse to produce the proof. @radicalgrace I agree , one thing about Jack Coe was he preached in many small farming towns where everyone knew each other. And if you were a fake you would be caught real quick and exposed. Your neighbor was sitting under the tent and they knew if you were sick or not. God moved mightily especially in the 1950's Yes God still heals and I have seen God do it. But I'm talking about the big tent revivals going town to town and miracles were present.

Many close to him said that Jack knew God was trying to tell him to watch his weight, but he lived as he chose and sadly, God allowed him to do as he did. God never forces us to do things that he would have us do, it's a choice. Jack simply did not do the right thing and that was his mistake and it took his life.

Good question: but remember the healings were not him but JESUS. And people did get healed. Why he died of polo I do not know. I do know he was sued over a healing service that someone didn't receive healing . Seems that Coe never recovered from that. He died within a year or so of it. I guess in this life we will never know. But it doesn't change the power of God. People get to focused on men. People are fallible. People can make mistakes we are not God.

I agree with you in principle that most 'faith healers' have none or little evidence to prove that God heals through their ministry. However, I have worked closely with Jack Coe Jr. and his sister Joanna Coe-Herndon. They are the real deal. I've had skeptics claim that doctors were lying or being paid off. Some people just won't believe in Christ' healing power today, no matter what evidence they see. Their mind is made up.
