John T was my hero as a kid- meeting him at plymouth Uk was rad I was about 10! he had just killed it in the xc and was chilling eating a peach and I was bothering him like crazy for his autograpth haha!! That year I rode the slalom on my 'Offroad' Proflex with flexistem- the good old days!!

I know most DH courses today are alot tougher than this - but seriously doing any DH course with drop bars and riding on the lever hoods?! he must've been crazy, especially with a Tioga discdrive which disintigrate with alarming regularity.
