The reason they didnt get some of the wcw things is because 1. Some Wrestlers Such as sting goldberg kevin Nash etc. where signed to turner not wcw and thats a fact that was the only thing wwe couldnt get the major wcw stars thats it wwe got almost everything from the name to the video library

Sting isn't retiring against an WCW legend, TNA won't allow that to happen, Sting is going to go out while putting over one of TNA's younger stars.

They are called TNA Originals because they've been in TNA since the beginning and before the Spike TV deal. Samoa Joe was never signed to the WWF, thus wasn't ever a WWF superstar. AJ Styles was only used by WCW in 2001 and AJ has been apart of TNA since DAY ONE, that's why they're called Originals and please stop typing WCW as "wCw".

Steve (Sting) said in his TNA DVd Which i have that he did not go to WWE Because of what the rock siad to booker t the first night booker appeared in wwe/f and sting was probably the only wcw guy vince wanted he offered sting 2 contracts with alot of money but sting turned them down because he felt they were not going to use him correctly
