Culinare One Touch Can Opener (Does it Work?)

One touch I call it one use! Utterly useless. My two sons, one a firefighter, one a social worker struggled to get it to work, we got it to work once, it rips top off and leaves a nasty jagged edge very dangerous. We tried it again and it jammed onto the lid only way to remove it was to break it off ruining the can. Do not buy it for elderly or anyone else get a decent electric one.

The ORIGINAL, (Model No. 1), WORKS beautifully! But I can't even open the battery compartment to put in the batteries in Model 2! Get Model 1! A difference between day.....and the 6 months of night they have in Scandanavia! (Nothing against Scandanavians -- only against One Touch Can Opener, Model TWO!)

Yea your probably right, whats funny is, we went out to buy a can/tin to test it on and nearly every tin has a ring pull on these days

It Opens ring pull cans too !! - either open top or better turn the can over and open the bottom (without ring pull) .. cool eh !!

I'm sure it doesn't know how big the can is. Since there are many different sized cans, it's probably programmed to spin long enough to open the largest size can in one pass.
