ok please help i made this and loaded a walking program but everytime it walks the back just falls off the nxt computer?????? has anyone else had this problem??

@nairblizard Im building mine and i have gone over my parts (Because im at the part putting the NXT Brick on) Make sure the connectors are connected and secure and your not missing any parts if that dowsnt work make sure that any part is weak.

@samhicks You probably bought a used one and the instructions are on the program on the CD that comes with the kit.

this lego mindstorm is a rip off bad advertising on the front you see alpha rex 2.0 and on one side it says its 38 cm long so when the buyer sees it there going to think you can make it but when i opened it the manual wasn't there then when i opened the flap thing on the front of the box it says the parts that comes with it but i searched online for a manual and when i was making it i didn't even have nearly enough parts i only made the one with the tank looking one

@samhicks97 ok next time, dont buy it used or from a con artist. when you buy the kit new, you will always have 100% of the pieces/manuals, but when you buy it used you dont have that guarantee.

The box comes with a disk software.

Once you install it, it has instructions in the program

@samhicks97 You have to put the disc in the computer and the instructions will be in the program on the computer.

I bought the NXT 2.0 kit (new - not used) in december 2011 (Part no. 8547) and I couldn't find the manuel in the box either. BUT I found out that the manuals for the Alpha Rex and the other machines is on the included DVD. Install the DVD and run the NXT program. On the right you can select what to build, and see the instructions on screen! :)

i just bought nxt 2.0 but i can't find alpha rex builing instructions inside it? where can i find them?

@ventus365 They are on the software disk. When you load the software on the right hand side there is a menu thing and you can get directions for any of the 4 robots.

@playah97 I would run the motors at 75, but It depends on how fast you want the robot to walk. Going too fast (like 100) could make it go out of control.

And, for the pressure sensors, I would put it on pressure (bumped). However, during my experience with this robot I've figured out that the touch/pressure sensors don't acutally help the robot "precision walk" as the box says. Not using them does not make a difference.

@Jordyy12345 Ok, Alls you have to do is make sure one foot is in front of the other, then just have motors b and c go forward at the same time at about 75 power and the robot should walk straight. I have tried using the touch sensors for "precision walking" like the box says, but I've found that there is no difference.
