I see a lot of reactions about the fact that the Americans did not fight in WW I. Which is true and this song orinally came out of the fallen soldiers of WW I.
Nevertheless it´s a beautiful song. It doesn´t matter which war nor wich time. This is a song that can relate to wars in the past, present and future.

We needed the US in both those wars their mass production of war weapons capability and the shear number of troops they were able to provide helped the allies greatly. I am Canadian and the fighting boys to our south did a great job helping us defeat the enemy.

Today the 11/11/2010 is a perfect day to rember all of the men that died in all wars on all sides English, French, German, American, Canadian, and all the other allies that have fought in wars even those that survived and are scared for life. My Grandfarther was in the RAF during the war survived and then died of lukemia that he got from working on the planes and my dad has lost half his memories due to being shot in ireland and he also lost the eye we should rember the wounded as well R.I.P
I am a Canadian and I have close friends of my serving the country in both Canada and the USA. I personally think this song is a good song and well made with images.

My last tour when I was in afghanistan I lost my mate Dazza to an IED. He walked over a pressure plate killed him instantly, but only injured me cause we were spread out 10 ft from each other. This song was played after his funereal at a concert we held... just hearing it and reminds me of the moment and when i had to wash his blood of my hands. It begins to put a toll on a man, begins to chip away at what he has left.... so please don't come on video's to talk shit it's not changing anything.

I know there are a lot of pictures of Americans they are easy to get pictures of as they have been involved conflict almost every decade. I also do show a lot of soliders from WWI. I also show german soilders. That why in the video discription "To remember the fallen and those still fighting wars." because I wasn't going to just show WWI images. War is hell no matter which war you are talking about. Also I have about the same amount of WWI pictures then all the american ones put together

Better still, go look at the War cemeteries, and you will see the proof - in those days those poor kids did as they were told in the belief that their officers knew what they were doing. Just as many young soldiers are still doing. Have respect for those doing what you may well never have to do because they did it first.
