Recently two of my best friends got mad at something stupid I did. Well in spite of them saying they don't ever want to be friends again and one saying she never can forgive me, I am going to remain a faithful friend. I've always wanted to sing this as a duet with my wife. We've been married 34 years. Of course, the song was not written as a husband-wife thing, but rather as about the mutual admiration of two friends. I thought I was being pretty clever by changing it to a husband-wife thing, but now I see all these comments about people wanting to use it at their wedding. Guess I'm not so clever after all.
