i like how they actually tilt the flippin beds... you may be stuck in bed but theres a chance to let gravity work for you i like how quiet it is in there\
"so quiet and composed" Ya, it's called drugs. I'm sure her baby was "enjoying" some of them, as well. Evidence to this is that she looked half out of it, but more importantly her baby slid out as if her muscles were barely even working.
@voxmel U.S birthıng ıs bad. the care of health ınsurance ıs greater than the care of mother and babys health. dont have a baby ın the unıted states. ı dıd and ı regret havıng ıt there..
Every single place in the world will have women saying they've had a bad experiece or a good experience. It just depends on those who are helping her.
@gunesgun I'm a US citizen, and it's not as bad as that for everyone. One of my friends gave birth to her daughter in England and she said it was a horrible experience with rude nurses, not much care instructions for home, and she was sent home just hours after the birth. Her sister-in-law had her two daughters in England and had no complaints about either experience. You have to realize that it can be bad for anyone at anyplace, as it can be just as good for anyone at anyplace.
@LMmccallL57 while I agree with anything ıs possıble anywhere ... hospital intervention ıs the greatest ın the United States. The nurses are very nice -no complaints about that. İnstructıons were clear too . I stayed for three nights-no problems were there. Use of vacuum was too fast on me. Epıdural was encouraged hıghly. the broken clavıcle was mıssed and I was told the baby was perfect. The breastfeeding ıs not encouraged as much as ıt should be-there are baby formulas ready to be gıven .
@gunesgun I think it depends on the doctors on suggestions of breast-feeding, but formula is very popular. :/ A cousin and I have the same OB/GYN and he fully encourages breast-feeding. I love that our bodies produce nourishment for babies before/after they're born. :-) I don't like that c-sections are so often performed here, in my opinion. It's like SOME doctors are in a rush to get things over with and that's not right. If there's a danger to the life of the mother and/or baby, then okay.
@LMmccallL57 there ıs too much ınterventıon there. the only optıon to gıve bırth ın the hospıtal ıs lyıng on your back. you cannot record the bırth event-which ıs very sad. when a mother needs to gıve bırth vıa c sectıon she ıs forced to ıt naturally-no choice there. the choıce of how to have a baby should be left to the mom supported by her doc or mıdwıfe. In my sıtuatıon c sectıon was a better chıoce but ı was forced to ıt naturally-whıch ended up wıth the use of a vacuum.
@gunesgun US or UK? On your back is the standard way/many doctors prefer it, but my cousin delivered on her knees, holding onto the head of the bed, in the bed w/o midwives, only doctors and nurses. She asked if she could change her position. When she found a somewhat "comfy" position, they let her stay. It was only minutes before the baby was born, though, so maybe that's why, (too risky to move her) but it happened. Another cousin delivered in July and it was recorded. Other vids on Youtube.
she was quiet and composed because they gave her a catheter to the spine with pain medication. I went natural, I screamed when she crowned like I was being murdered.
@Newlyandjoy haha i know what you mean, i had a spinal with my first....wasnt too bad. my second was natural....and i think i ended up waking the whole hospital up with my screaming from pain hahaaa
Very gentle and soothing for a hospital birth, in contrast to the US where if a mom doesn't get an epidural she's in agony and the nurses and doctors are yelling at her to push, rather than letting her push when she's ready.
