I'm having one right now! When I first got this aura I was soooo scared and I thought I'm gonna blind! But now I am happy because I saw a many eople has got the same problem.I hate aura >.<
I have this Aura as well, and thankfully only lasts for 10 - 15 mins, when i try to read during an attack it is virtually impossible, what frightens me is one day the Aura may stay with me for longer periods, luckily that has not happened, and obviously i hope never will........
Hi there. I used to have migraines until I was about 16, and although I no longer have the headache, I still get these about 3-4 times a year. First time I had one I totally freaked but now I know they're nothing to worry about. It's called a "Scintillating Scotoma" and it actually happen in the visual cortex in the back of your brain, not in your eyes! It's probably caused by temporary constriction of blood flow, but you won't go blind or mad. No cure though.
You are seeing into the higher realms of consciousness.
You are unable to decipher that which is higher,
because you use a lower realm tool.
That is why it is unintelligible.
I am used to them, they get quite bad but I deal with them.

This is a freaky disorder, and rare. I have been lucky enough to only experience this
light show when I am asleep. I have learned to just lie there with my eyes closed until
the cycling red and yellow lights stop. In times that I tried to move around, I have a
definite loss of vision in one eye. If I try to read something, part of the letters go away.
==It might be that we are just not resting our eyes, not to sleep, but rather shut off
visual stimuli for an unknown time.

"Migraine aura" is better because "scintillating scotoma" can happen without migraine aura and migraine aura is sometimes not scintillating scotoma.
