Stop arguing people. Different people like different styles of music, each person has a varies in what they constitute as good music. I for instance, dislike opera and find it lacking in musical ability, while my friend hears my musical CD's (Rent, Les Miserables, etc.) and calls the people who sing those lacking in musical ability. It's all different.

I must admit though, to me, apart each group sounds better than this collaberation...

interesting reconception of the orig. It seems like it was down a major 2nd or so from the orig too. I really like the way the group takes the tempo changes so well but am not totally sure if I dig them. Dynamic contrast is great but I wish we would hear the soloist(s) more. The key change at the end was anticlimatic and different from the orig (it isn't major chords hitting its open 5ths if I remember correctly). Really good tempo and dynamics, not sold on the arrangement.

The vocal instrumentation (does this have a word for it) should be very strong and bold. In this its weak. The chorus at 1:17 is closer to the sound you want, but the rest is to cartoonish sounding.

Like most RHCP does this way concept there execution so so.
