I'm new and I love this game. I game from the succesor of tribes. Legions Overdrive. the physics are slightly different but there is a feature called overdrive, it allows you to perform sharp movements at high speeds, a bit like the grappling hook.

@vividintent You have no idea how true that is, I've realized that a lot of modern shooters today are far slower in terms of speed than original fps games such as Unreal, games like unreal true skill was based on how fast your reactions are in terms of dodging, accuracy, and speed. Nowadays its all about trying to figure out cheap ways to exploit the way a game is meant to be played by fragging somebody as quickly as possible.
