Heh, don't worry about your age at all. I'm 31 and I'm about to take Grade 1!

I'm sure everyone else in the waiting room will be just as nervous whatever grade and age they're at. Just remember that the examiner is on your side, and he / she would love to see you do well.

@meggzz1996xx well i wouldn't call it singing but yes. It's the aural test where the examiner plays a small tune (it's very short and simple) and they want you to sing back the tune.

grade 1-  8 years old. It's good but I don't think it's anything special- grade 3 at 8 is very good though tell your friend to keep up the good work.

Wait till u get to grade 5 and beyond. If u were scared by this one, you'd have fainted by the time u finished listening to a fast grade 5 piece. For example, one piece is 126 per crochet, and the peice is played in quavers and semiquavers!
