It is interesting to compare Elmer's version with his Uncle Sanford's on the 1936 recording. I think there will be 2 CD's out this summer that include the older recording.
Thanks for that, what a great treat hearing Elmer play this version which I'm sure is much closer to the original than the other versions floating around out there. Can't get much closer to the source than Elmer is!
this version is so much better than all the others i've heard, actually sounds old time
