@jponsillo First, thank you for being bold and using your name, and thank you for watching the video. I'm sorry you think it's lame. We don't go there to push our faith on them, we go to show them love they may not see. They've been abandoned by their country (Burma), and they live in sewage filled slums. In this orphanage, they get one good meal a day, education, and love. No one holds a gun to their head and forces them to believe in Christ, just as no one forced you to watch the video.
There are not many non-Christians I know who are willing to spend thousands of their own money to travel to a foreign country in horrid conditions in order to just spend time with children who need love and caring. That's all we have time to do. And when you show a little love, you get a little love in return.
@fifenhorn theres nothing bold about it? you sound so high on yourself. I know the facts, ive been to mae sot, i know how much it takes to feed a child for a day. I know you could put every child there through Oxford 10 times over on a tiny percentage of what the Church has stowed away for a rainy...? rapture!? I know the bible and I respect Jehovah as a philosopher, but I think the greatest tragedy and biggest set back in the growth of our species is that someone called him the son of GOD!
lame! how about not forcing your beliefs on less fortunate in exchange for basics needs?
