  • Take a joke people

  • did you study theology, Bill ?

did you write or study a history of religions ? did you even read the one Already written by Eliade ? Do you have any specialized knowledge in this are, Bill ? ....I doubt it. Therefore, please shut up, I don't want to know your guesses, I have my own.

Tell me what you know, not what you think. And you know very little about religion, one of them or more. Uneducated guesses and jokes...nothing more.

  • @BLPdevelopment But religion deals with what happens when we die and questions of morality, surely everyone should have their say and be allowed to voice their opinions when dealing with questions such as these. You don't have to study philosophy or religion because no religion really knows what happens when we die. When it comes to these questions, everyones opinion matters just as much if you draw it from your own life experiences and thoughts.

  • arabs were realy mad at themn lol hee hee biil maher is always funny

  • arab were reaky mad at themn lol hee hee biil maher is always funny

  • "And when i say 'man' I mean penises because no religion would allow a woman to make important decisions like that."

And this is where Maher fucks up with his bullshit, ultra liberal, third wave feminist bias.

  • @iiwatcher really????????????? Tell me or us(the world) which woman or women had any say on religion?????????????

  • Nuns for starters. Don't give me shit about women having no choice. Women gladly uphold religion to this day. There is a huge list of prominent women figures in religion. Here are but a few: Saints Perpetua & Felicity, Saint Monica of Hippo, Clotilde, Hilda of Whitby, royal abbess in the 7th century, Antoinette Bourignon, St. Bridget of Sweden, Heloise, Hildegard of Bingen, Anne Boleyn, Aimee Semple McPherson, Ellen G. White—co-founder and prophetess of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (cont)

  • @WilsonT011 All these women had more than a say. And the list goes on. By the way, are you sure you have enough question marks there skippy? XD

  • @iiwatcher Before the rennaissance women did not have a say and that's a fact. Even Virgin Mary who is kind of a big shot in chiristianity has no say. She hardly ever says anything she agrees with her son and mourns him later. And even if there are nuns, there were no women voting in the First Ecumenical Council in Nicea when the bible was compiled.

  • @DobromirMG I was asked to give an example of any woman who has had a say in religion. I gave a big list of women who have plenty of say about religion and myriads of them also do today. Your comment is totally disingenuous, not to mention stupid--there was never a virgin Mary, and there is no proof that christ as he is written in the bible ever existed. It's all bullshit like your post. Go propagate misandry and victim mentality for women elsewhere.

  • @iiwatcher Harry Potter never existed too but still says things. Unlike Virgin Mary. And those women in your example list did not do much either. Religion has always been men's territory. There are women connected with religion but whatever message they send is decided by men.

  • @DobromirMG "Harry Potter never existed too but still says things." You're a MORON. "And those women in your example list did not do much either." You lose all credibility with that insanely stupid statement. Your last sentence is baseless, ideological clap-trap. Take your bullshit to pseudo-academic spaces that embrace intellectually dishonest BILGE, like your gender studies & "wymins" studies departments at your community college. No one is buying it on this end.

  • @iiwatcher I do not care if you're buying it or not. It's a fact. There are no women who had actual influence in Christianity. Now you take your little precious list of influential women and shove it up your ass. It's just the truth. And how could you say Anne Boleyn had religious influence? Her husband reformed the english church and then had her killed. And btw we did not go to community college. We have universities here.

  • @DobromirMG If you don't care then why respond? You just keep revealing & contradicting yourself with every post. Denial in the face of direct evidence = willful stupidity. Baseless assertions, no matter how profusely insistent, do not equal reality. Go preach your propaganda elsewhere. You're too stupid & disingenuous to be taken seriously. I suggest you fuck off. Unless of course you want to be tooled.

  • @iiwatcher It amuses me. I can ask you the same question. Why do you insist on some statement you made without any arguments except the one that I am "wilfully stupid" and refuse to accept your reality. If you think that I am too stupid for you, why do you bother engaging in a pointless discussion like this. In fact I suggest that you shoudl listen to your own advice and go fuck yourself.

  • @DobromirMG There you go "not caring again" Lmao. I must have touched a nerve. You're like a bad guest that won't go away. Once you denied the facts you became irrelevant to the discussion. Take your relativist bullshit elsewhere. I refuse to take you seriously since you made such utterly stupid statements & showed what a moron you are. You must love getting made fun of. Masochistic? And I didn't say go fuck yourself I said fuck off--you can't even understand basic curse words. Retard.

  • @iiwatcher I said it amuses me. And now I see your point. You really did say "fuck off". As for facts...you have none. You're just a pathetic human being who needs to feel superior to others. And you're pretty dumb too.

  • @DobromirMG So if you see my point why don't you go ahead and fuck off then? So when someone shows you facts, your response is to say they have none? Do you have anything besides empty rhetoric & denial in the face of direct evidence? Take your bullshit to your "wymins" & gender studies courses, they'll entertain & pseudo-intellectual & academically dishonest bullshit there. You fucking FAIL.

  • @DobromirMG You total MORON, I gave you proof of women who had great influence in religion & you blithely dismissed it, & chose to talk out of your fat smelly ass. You're fit for nothing but to me made fun of. By the way, gravity is a fact--please dismiss that statement as well, and walk off a roof.

  • @iiwatcher It seems that you're the moron here. Nuns? Really? Anne Bolleyn? Female saints and martyrs are symbols not people of influence. Even Pope Joan is unlikely to have ever existed. You claim some kind of superior intelect but you fail to notice that people who actually influence any one of the 3 major Abrahamic religions have penises. Another thing you fail to notice is that in my first statement I spcified that what I meant was relevant BEFORE THE RENNAISSANCE.

  • @DobromirMG From religion in general to just 3 types? So now you're whittling it down to the 3 Abrahamic religions eh? You're a moronic shyster you know that? Martyrs & nuns are not people of influence? MORONIC STATEMENT. You further move the goalpost with your Renaissance statement (one "n" MORON). But you still FAIL. Ever heard of Mary worship? How about 13th Century Beguines anyone? Your historical revisionism is laughable. You're a political/religious ideologue plain & simple. (cont...)

  • @DobromirMG I simply provided a list of women who have had great influence in religion--and you simply have zero counter. you're lack of understanding is embarrassing as is your inability to know when to quit.

  • @iiwatcher But even after that women have almost no influence on such matters as religion. Even if they have followers and supporters, even if they found sects and churches their role in the life of the masses is insignificant. Another thing you have to learn is the meaning of the word metaphor. People sometimes use them so that people with little brains like yours could coprehend their point. I compare the female influence in religion to Harry Potter that's because it's equally significant.

  • @DobromirMG So women who "have followers and supporters" and "found sects and churches" have no influence? WHAT? Once again, you reveal what a total MORON you are. "Harry Potter never existed too but still says things." You actually that statement a metaphor of any kind, let alone an apt one pertinent to the topic? RETARD. "I compare the female influence in religion to Harry Potter that's because it's equally significant." WHAT?? Seriously, for your own sake, stop commenting.

  • @iiwatcher And what if I dont stop? And once again you pick my words out of the context. You must be either really stupid or really desperate to prove some point. You should seek some help. I suggest you give up your moronic thesis and see the reality. Sects and little churches are not influential. There are thousands of them and you claim that they all have affected the cultural life of humanity? And nuns? How did the NUNS affect you?Are you a NUN or just another moron on youtube?

  • Simple. If u don't stop, u keep exposing your stupidity, & I keep being entertained by it. Yes MORON, the influence women have had in religion has had an effect on culture, of course. I need not reiterate my proof, as it will only be lost on you. Nuns never affected culture, people, or religion? Ever heard of Mother Teresa? Once again: U ARE A MORON. Keep peddling your third wave feminist BILGE. Only your "wymins" studies department would buy such garbage. True critical thinking is lost on you.

  • @iiwatcher My stupidity? Who are you to qualify people like that? I nearly forgot about your bullshit I don't want to spoil your fun. First we're talking about religion here not culture. And you seem to have no argument again so please show us your idiocy and start calling me names. Yes I have heard of Mother Teresa but may be you are too stupid to realize that she was born in 20th century. And why would I be feminist? And please explain what should "wymins" studies mean?

  • @iiwatcher Critical thinking? It seems that just thinking is too much for you...

  • @DobromirMG ZERO COUNTER. Thanks for playing.

  • @iiwatcher Mother Theresa is a terrible support of any religious debate... look at what she really did and it will make your stomach turn

  • @Sconezeta I am not condoning religion of any kind. I am non-religious. I was correcting the moron who stated that women have not had any influence in religion or society. Mother Teresa was also a moron. I have heard about her, but I haven't looked deeply into it---what did she do? Probably exploiting poor people for the church's prosperity I would guess...that's religion for ya.

  • effortless bill , is so sweet , so easy to listen

  • i wonder why this cut, it was very insightful.

  • american isn't a language, it's english! but yeah, bill maher <3

  • @IzzyBunneh It's just a nod at the ignorance of Americans as we find it easier to name the countrie's language after the actual country.

For example, a lot of American's don't know that the Chinese speak mandarin (and it's different dialects) instead of "chinese". Or that Mexican's speak a different dialect of spanish and is thusly named "mexican".

    So yeah, we're pretty dumb.

  • @IzzyBunneh That was a joke :)

  • Yahweh's already burned through his advance? BRILLIANT. I love you, Bill.

  • 100% right as always

  • Thank you Bill for all the laughs. It occured to me last Fall that man had a "hand" in the Bible. I grew up thinking it was litterally the Word of God. So after 25 years of unquestioning faith I have now questioned it all. Similar to the way I felt when I found out Santa Claus wasn't real. I have recovered from the shock and I am very glad I questioned.

  • @sarahgeorge07 wow wow wOW WOW...........Santa Claus isnt real?

  • Nice thing you put up this videos, srulop.

But "Bill Maher is genius"? Seriously?

Well, sure, he propably is and intelligent man, but "genius"? That really is quite a stretch.

  • @Herbarius yeah, he's no genuis...has good timing though..

  • Bible Outtakes... Hehehe

  • Harry was written by a woman.

  • 1:03 - translated into american LOL

  • look at mormonism that religion was taken out of an actual fictional book written during the 1800's

  • @vegitoth all religions were taken from fictional books ;P

  • @MindfulFuture no kidding sherlock ?

  • why whr these left out of his video?!

  • Tell it Bill!
