my MIDI interface sends the notes to my MIDI to CV converter , which converts into a CV signal , which goes into the SH-101.. which then makes the music..

What cables do you use for your midi-cv converter?

I really do have to get that MIDI/CV converter. Has that one been working for you fine? Would you recommend it? I think i know of the ones on eBay you are talking about.

Also whats the white box? Some kind of MIDI controller?

white box? its my mixer. its a cheap Taiwanese brand - Pro.2.. saving up money for a better one, haha!

cool dude. I've been looking for a sequencer for my sh-101. What do you use?

i use Ableton Live to sequence and a no-name, custom built MIDI-to-CV/Gate converter which I got off eBay

How exactly do you do this? Ive been trying to do the same, are you using MOTU's Volta to send the signals from ableton?
