And turns out I was mistaken, as well: the different music mixes actually had to do w/the dayparts...the sax version here was used during primetime/late night...the version on my channel was used in the morning, and there was also a xylophone version used in the afternoon.

@WhatsAYak yes i noticed that as well when I watched Global all the time when i was a kid Global needs to bring back the logo and some if it's classic shows

I was looking for this.I live n Detroit and when i was a kid back in the late 80s, on a clear night my tv would pick up this channel. the id is just as I remember it.U can find anything on youtube.This was around 88-90.
