ha, fuck simon, what is his talent- telling people what they already know, he tells great singers "that was a great performance" and the sucky singers who are on the show just to make the good ones look great get the "worst performance i've ever heard" speech. he has no talent, i'd love to hear him sing for once
Yh but his job isn't to sing though, his job is to judge the people with the talents that they have/think they have. And to be honest Simon doesn't force the bad singers etc. to go onto the shows, they do it by free will. And its saddening to the people who are singing because they're obviously getting told they are good when they're not, so Simon is just being honest.

I don't think Leona and Mariah sound that similair... just because they have big ranges and voices? The actual sound is quite different even when they do the same song.
I agree with "aku192"...why compare LL with MC??? MC is legend and has evolved just as music has. SO, Why not compare apples to apples>>> like Kelly clarkson, Jordin sparks, kat Mcphee, carrie underwood, fantasia, Leona Lewis etc. To each other. Compare idol to idol, which is how all these ladies got recognized whether they won or second place. Just dont compare a superstar to a newbie. Its actually disrespectful to MC, i would think.
