It's crazy, I just noticed the lyrics where she says "we are reflections".. I think in the birth of humanity our eyes got developed based off the reflections of what we first saw. Hence green eyes being a reflection of the grass, brown eyes a reflection of the dirt, blue eyes of the sky etc. Pretty interesting.. I <3 this.
