I always thought this song reminds me of Xbox live for Halo 2, you being "connected" online and all? Players were never alone because of match making. Sadly Microsoft had to make a big update to 360 for Kinect and had to shutdown the old XBL servers, we will not forget XBL with Halo 2 and other games, at least there is the PC version.

meh, its a good song. But it doesn't capture the mood of a battlefield- a spartan is deployed to destroy an alien armada and save humanity, not to be a pop celebrity.

I think this song is like the relationship between the MC and Cortana. (Not the crazy, telephathic connection in halo 3, but a deep, inner connection between an A.I. and a super soldier)

hm, i think it can fit there very well, if u listen to the lyrics, and use some fantasy, u can compare this to the mc and the arbiter or even cortana, maybe to all the other spartans who fell even before halo one was playing (as seen in books)... well thats my opinion :)
