As a child i loved this program , nobody house, rentaghost , blue peter, the cliften house mystery, grange hill and as a teenager Into The Labyrinth. So many happy happy memorys sadly my own children will never know this magic thanks to the merchandising and greed of modern day tv producers.
Cooking shows and american cartoons, children experience more interaction with a carrot rather than that of, the diversity of social skills and interaction of the mind.
@myboyjenson Hi mate just edited the article, put some dates and actors names and a few more jobs that i remember doing. email me at moretonzx10r@talktalk.net if you need any more info. kind regards Kev.
wonderful. had been trying to remember the name of this and tried googling 'scarf ghost house' etc to track it down as i couldnt remember the title. Was 10 when it came out and took me right back to see it again. thanks very much
I was sitting here thinking about 70's kids shows I used to watch, and Nobody's House popped to mind. Hadn't thought of that show in 45 years, and here it is...well the title. Loved that show. Was 13 when it was on. Not a great theme music. Don't remember it. Now Tomorrow's People, THAT was theme music. Thanks!
Hi Raspberry Bazaar!Nobody's House was low budget,so it would make sense to keep it as local as poss! so maybe it is a photo of a house in your area.regards Kev.
Could be? Thanks for replying again, my husband things Im stalking you now because Ive told everyone Ive 'spoken' to 'Nobody' LOL! Take Care, Regards Mandy
Me too, though I was only 6yrs old at the time, to this day my sister still doesnt know I 'knicked' her Nobodys House book because it had a photo of Kev Moreton on the front!! (Im blushing now)Im 37 now and still have it
Nobody's House was filmed in Tyne Tees studio in Newcastle not sure about the year it was so long ago. Maybe 1976/77. Even if they release it on DVD I don't get any royalties.
Hi Wiz, Thanks for replying. Im a Geordie so know where Tyne Tees studio is. Sorry to bother you again, but it was the house that was used that I was wanting to know its location as its similar to the area where I grew up, but then again could have been anywhere in the country. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.

I was 9 when I was watching Nobody's House.. I love the cool atmosphere with the chequered tiling that contributes to create a strong feeling of strangeness like "the uncanny". If only I could see the episodes again! thanks
I haven't seen this for years! Remember the ghost boy (AKA Nobody) was only known about by the two children of the house. Nobody pulled on his tie once to become transparent and twice to totally disappear.
thanks for posting this,terminus69,i watched this a few times and got totally obssessed with it, and then it disappeared after a few episodes!hardly anybody ever remembers it, great to hear the titles again, cheers.
God where did you dig this up from? I loved the programme but I wouldnt have remembered the tune in a million years. Sad to say but I still have the paperback book (in the loft I might add)!!!! Total Saddo! Thanks for putting it on though
The kid who played Nobody was also the kid who played Sam in the YTV Drama of the same name.

I remember watching this when it was re-run in Australia during the 1980's. Great series. Think there were only 6 or 7 episodes made.

I've waited 32 years to see this again and thought I never would - thanks so much. Is there any more footage available?
Tyne Tees had inadvertently made "Predator" for teatime viewing.
The lo-tech production is grottier and far more unnerving than the slick CGI kids are familiar with these days.
Once more, I thank you.

I used to love watching this when i was a kid, was only 7 at the time!
Kev, you must of been about 15-16 when it was made! It's one of the few cult kids series from the 70's that haven't been released yet!

How strange wizwangzx10r to see yourself years later on the 'tinternet'. Can you tell me where nobodys house was filmed?
Also liked your brief appearance in open all hours' Good actor should have been in more programmes!
Anybody found out yet if Nobodys house is to be released on DVD? I got The Ghosts of Motley Hall on DVD recently but Nobodys House was much better

Sorry my question wasnt clear I meant I realise the interior is done in a studio but was the exterior of the house real or just a visual effect?
RaspberryBazaar 4 years ago
Only got the first episode myself, and that on VHS ... maybe Network will get to it eventually. Maybe.
