@AmericanPitbulls1 Feeding cows corn in Switzerland was a joke. You seem to be young and great with animals, so I won’t be too judgmental. Most cattle in the US are only allowed to receive $50 worth of vet care, at the most. Cows in the USA are forced to gorge on corn for the last 2 months of their life before slaughter, which causes acidosis. So look up the microbiology of the cow’s rumen and digestion of corn. This is where E.Coli 0157: H7 starts.

@seektherapy70 well I will take that as a complement, and I know about cow slaughter I like the way Swiss cows are raised and I have owned a few cattle and I would never just feed a animal of any kind just one thing every single day all their life I mean how boring is that I have always had a variety of things when feeding my animals and the best vet care.

I know about sicknesses and stuff I want to become a vet I know every breed of dog and species that I can as much as possible.

wish there were more places like this here in the states! these people look like they're taking such good care of their animals! I hate it here: people treat their animals like objects and nothing more. They're living creatures! Treat them very well and they'll make you more money than if you don't take very good care of them.

I understand they are trying to help as many cattle as possible but surely putting holes and plugs in their sides is too far?

@fairyjessmeow though it does benefit other cows, its still terrible how they would put a hole into a cow that has good digestive bacteria and enzymes instead of feeding cow what they should natural eat. Cows are often fed corn because it is cheap, but they cannot properly digest it, and some cows have holes in their sides, just like this, where the farmer takes the undigested corn out of their stomachs
