@conseildetat Yeah I used to say that about the ugly old spinsters that taught us at the girls school I attended. I slouched all my life and now I have back problems and my doctor said it is because of bad posture. I shoulda listened!

i'm 20 and had a nanny who was a young girl back then. she was relentless in teaching me proper posture, sitting, manners, all of it. I used to believe that she had a mean streak or had it out for me, but now i realize what it was all for and i'm very grateful.
