It didnt really get cancelled cause the last episode of the series was pretti much an ending. The movie wasnt that great i still consider season 2 episode 15 the real ending.

I thought the movie was awful, especially because they got rid of Rube, who was my favorite character. And the actress they had play Daisy didn't get it right at all.

@Deiophobus I think the movie was good because it tied up loose ends since the series ended with some loose ends. They should do this with a lot of cancelled shows like Heroes,Pushing Daisies, Reaper, The Cape, and such.

there was a movie that came out recently on dvd. they replaced daisy's actor and rube got his lights. its almost like a long episode of DLM. still good though.
