@ApolloEspeon His Noel matchup is only 5.5 - 4.5 which is barely even a good matchup anyway but sadly it's his only good one, specially since she can still pull off 5K midscreen off of pretty much any poke there is barely any real advantage, Makoto is only even because her pressure zone is within Tager's grab range and Collider beats 2 versions of Celestial Impact so instead of him trying to go after an opponent or fight someone with big range normals like Ragna he just lets Makoto go to him.

but everyone else got pretty much hit hard by the STEEL PIPE nerf as well, so he doesn't struggle as much as he used to

That first match wasn't serious. Ike was laughing pretty much the entire time during the trollfinite. He wasn't teching because he was letting MikeZ take the first match. He knows MikeZ hasn't played BB in a long time so they were just having some fun during the first match. After the first match Ike decided to play for reals and then bodies MikeZ the second match and toys with him a bit in the third match.

I wouldn't get too hype for the return of MikeZ, I'm willing to bet the only reason he entered is because he was at EVO anyway for the Skullgirls panel and he figured "Why the hell not". You can tell he hasn't been practicing CS2, he isn't utilizing Tager's CS2 stuff, at all. Will Mike play seriously again when Skullgirls is out and Tager gets retooled in CS2+? Only time will tell.
