    Thanks,

  • hey! the Spad website's back up.

  • Nice build!! I'd really like to see the plans, but the address for the webpage in the beginning of the video doesn't work :o(. Anyone know where the plans can be found? (i'm interested in the 3 part "fold up" fuselage-type Cub) Thx.

  • SPAD website went down - sad. I hope the content is not lost forever. Send me your e-mail. I still have all plans (25 PDF documents total of 4MB) and I can e-mail them to you.

  • can you email me the plans? thanks in advance if you can.

  • @RysiuMal I would like the plans if you still have them. chris_jacques2001@yahoo.com

  • Do you have some material in how to glue coro, I been trying superglue and didn't work for me, I might be missing something. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!

    SUPER-NICE PLANE

  • There is really 2 things to do when your glueing Coro. Clean both surfaces well with Denatured Alcohol, then flame or flash it. Thats where you lick the surface with a torch to get rid of the factory oils and treatments. Requires some practice, use scraps.

I've glued before without flashing just cleaning, but you might want to flash just to be sure. Then add drops of CA glue, not too much or it will slip and not glue together. Hope this helps, PM> me if you have any questions.

  • Where did you get the plastic cardboard looking material for the fuse at? Cool video and good job!

  • what gasoline you use?

I made the same glow conversion as you, and I use automotive gasoline, but works only in high RPM.

  • It is the mix of 5oz Chevron 91oct + 1oz of Wildcat glow fuel 15/18. The glow plug is powered all the time.

  • ok, and no more oil? only the oil from glow fuel?

  • 15/18 Wildcat glow fuel has 18% oil in it. mixed with gasoline 1:5 results 3% oil (equivalent of 1:33 2-stroke fuel mix).

  • ok, I will try and them tell you results, thanks.

  • nice work

  • It turned out very nice. Good work!

  • Great to see that people are still building their own, to bad for the ARF companies.

  • Cool stuff. I must get around to building a SPAD one day.
