Love it! One of my all-time favorite T-Bird tunes. I've always wished they had punched the opening vocal line, though. Kim's flat on "Come" and "baby," but then smashes the entire rest of the song. Of course, if the 1st line was as flawless as the rest of it, the song might be too great to fathom and all our heads would explode!
This would be my vote for the best track they ever recorded. Great feel and superb interplay between Kim and Jimmie: check out the stuff they play together @ 1.21
Above all, it's got that intense yet relaxed feel,so elusive and so vital to a good blues performance.
I saw the band 'live' when they were promoting this and then later when they were promoting 'What's The Word'. It was an astounding gig; I can still see and hear it...
Love this track so much I chose to sing it with the band I'm in....big mistake I know but I just couldnt help myself.

Of course, they probably cut the whole thing live, and didn't want to disturb the integrity of that over some minor flaws, so they just let it ride.

@TheLovelyMC
these flats sounds Kim's typical mistakes but after a while you get use to them ... :-))))

Always loved this line-up of the Thunderbirds. Terrific rythym section. Many thanks for putting it up.

The groove on this is something nobody's played right since the T-Birds with Keith Ferguson broke up.
One of a kind band. Historic.
