Well I know the economy is bad, and lot of people are losing their jobs. But what I would do in this situation is that I will sell the vehicle and and take the public transit. I take the public transit to work everyday, even though I own a vehicle. Why wouldn't people take transit. If you can't pay don't buy on credit, that's what I learnt.

One more thing: it is against the law for a repoman to seize a vehicle from a secured party : Persuant the uniform commercial code (UCC) But this wont matter to him, he's Dumb he will take it any way. just remember to give him the keys but do not sign anything "Nothing"!! watch how powerful you become in a few weeks they (Bank/creditor) will call you to ask you to remove the lien. they will take you to court dont worry state your case to the judge. thats how it works when you no the law

Take proof of your Down payment on the vehicle to registries. Place a lien on the vehicle by becoming a "secured party creditor" yes you are a debtor as well.. BUT once you lien it you will become far more powerfull. just hand the keys over to the repoman he will be seizing your car but it wont go far. RED TAPE! this scews the bank. it will sit on some lot never being sold they will ask a judge for you to remove the lien but the Judge will listen to you because U R a Secured Party

Always put a Lien on Your own Car. if it ever gets seized they wont be able to sell your Car. Remember that you have a vested interest in the vehicle you put $ down and have made payments. you may be a debtor but you also have a vested interest in the car. so become a secured party. lien it!

That may be true, but everyone from all walks of life are either having trouble finding a job, or have lost their jobs. People who have degrees in accounting, finance, law, and medicine are losing their jobs as well. Even those so-called government jobs that were thought to be immuned to layoffs are disappearing. These days it seems that the only things that are guranteed is death, taxes, layoffs, reposessions, foreclosures, homelessness, and crime, which are all linked to the onging recession.

If you understood anything about economics you would understand the demand for some services like medicine is completely inelastic meaning they will always have a job.
