  • i totally agree!! maybe they're tuned to 448? or something ridiculously high..

  • Is it me, or is everything in this recording a whole step higher than it really is?

  • @cyvue Not just you! This is the end of the movement, where the viola excerpt we all know and love occurs again, only this time a whole step higher. Bruckner's way of spicing things up, I suppose. :)

  • of the 9 symphonies composed by austrian composer Anton Bruckner no.7 and this no. 4 are perhaps the best ones with a rich colorful river of melodies and harmonies, which recalls Mahler and Richard Strauss , although being them both afterwards in time from Bruckner I should state it the other way around

  • Weird that the flutes and horns are so close together...
