Theses onboard camera's are good but you still get all that noise from the rc helicopter blades which are spinning

@drxrazor ever been in a full size helicopter (or small plane)? Loud as. Its the images that people are after not the sound. You'de have to film from a hang glider or simlilar to get no mechanical sounds.

Good question. Last time I saw a vid of a "Huey" that was a 1,5 m long which is pretty big for a rc heli in my eyes.

RC helicopters used in film work are definitely not cheap- this thing can handle a full-sized film camera and costs $200,000!

$200,000? A Robinson 44 is not much more expensive.

A Bergen Observer Turbine which this helicopter is ~ $15, 000 US with radio. Add a stabilized mount maybe ~$5000. I am not sure if you're including cost of camera. Most I get is $20-25,000.
