Well it used to be horrible on a day to day basis where I would avoid people. My arms are very wrinkly, like old person wrinkly. I don't have itching issues anymore since every month I get some shot at the doctor. They are trying to cure it by taking out blood from my arm and putting it back in the side near my butt... I use Aveeno to moisturize my body ^_^
Through research I learned with eczema you MUST attack the main cause of the condition whether it be allergies, or internal problems usually gastrointestinal area. Topical creams and solutions may help you 'manage' eczema to a curtain point but if the root of the problem isn't dealt with it will always come back.
I've had it all my life...I'm now 59. When I was little they used to bandage my arms & hands at night before bed because I would scratch myself to the bone. I began using vitaman E daily at age 21 and outside of a few breakouts (when I don't take E for a few weeks) it hasn't bothered me much. When it does I soak in oatmeal baths, Avedia is on product, takes the sting out & put over the counter hydrocortizone cream on it. It works for me.
i hate eczema!! mine is sooooo horrible its all over my arms and on my face especially in the winter it get horrible i can even wear a tank top or a short sleeve shirt with out feeling gross! but i used a ton of vaseline coconut oil( extra virgin). Then wrap it in saran wrap for like 1 or 2 and it will fade.. :)
I've been dealing with hand eczema for 6 years and what has helped the most is a clean diet, a Bag of Ice helps with the itching and soreness, and also use a pure oil based soap. I use an Olive Oil soap called Aptera and it's been a godsend. Cold water is better than hot.
hey i wish i was u! ur eczema is absolutley NOTHING compared to mine! i cant even wear short sleeved tops because i feel REALLY self consious because i have cuts up and down my arms, but i have little hope that as i get older it will fade away a bit.. im 12 btw u know that age wen all u care about is looks? ya thats me....
@supersupersuperable I'm sorry! i know having this problem SUCKS! the only advice i can give someone with eczema is just try and figure out why your outbreaks occur and just try to keep your skin hydrated! I understand how you feel. there are times when i just want to hid in my room cuz i don't want people to make fun of my face. all i can say is, you just have to ignore anyone who tries to put you down for your eczema. those people are ignorant! and karma will bite them in the butt! GOOD LUCK!
@supersupersuperable research black seed oil my cousin took it orally and rubbed it mixed with crisco on her hands and arms and it got alot better. also used witch hazel for the itch
Respond to this video... Black seed oil taken orally helps to minimize allergies. Eczema is an allergy to foods and toxins such as soaps with chemicals and household cleaning products. Get an allergy test at the doctor and avoid those foods. Eat better lay off junk foods. Treat ur body right.
@supersupersuperable DOnt feel Bad ! My lil sister , has it behide her ears all the way into her scalp... she cant even where her hair up .. or get her ears pirced .. :( and shes 12 too ! Your not the only one :) Dont feel bad .. Its normal . And it should get beter as you get lder.. Puberty will help :) lol
@MegaBooization thanks :), im 13 now my eczema is still reaaally bad. but whatever.... looks arnt that much of a big deal. and tell ur sis that getting ur ears pierced isnt that great, its painful and u have to put disinfectant stuff on the holes for ages. clip on earings are much less hassel lol :)
just be careful with using vaseline, cuz it does block pores which will eventually cause the eczema to spread.. watch my video, and you will find out wat u can do to cure your eczema. it works for all kinds of eczema
Hey glad I found your channel :) it's nice seeing other eczema sufferers on youtube
I'm glad your eczema has gone, but like you mentioned in the description it's not something you can get rid of completely and that's the sad truth :(
It's strange that you found vaseline helpful because it's been proven that petroleum based products actually irritate eczema because they just sit on the skin and block the pores. I've had bad experience with petroleum. Glad it worked for you though :)
i just get it between my fingers and i always want to pop the bumps the liquid comes out and i lick it good
