I really feel bad for John Paul Jones, in my opinion he was the most talented musician of the group, Could play guitar, bass, piano, all sorts of orchestra instruments, Ukelayle (Or however you spell it), and everything in between. Sadly he never got the recognition he deserved, although he did sort of want it that way. Needless to say Led rules and they all 4 were great artists.

I like all live music, led zeppelin is great live, there consistant, maybe not always Robert but he's the lead singer. But live performance let bands improvise, solo longer, and add more. Led Zeppelin puts on a show, no one goes to a concert to hear album perfection they go for a good show and music. Led Zeppelin was made to play live for all those reasons.

He was quoted " I dont like to put my band on the tely, if you want to see Led Zeppelin you need to experience them live". Now I was born to late to see Zep but thank Christ someone filmed these live concerts for us to witness. at knebworth bonham looked excited but he doesn't move as much. maybe it's actually refinement of technique.
