nice work guys. we used to have a small-gauge passenger aerotrain at mack lowry's railways of america in cuyahoga falls ohio. it went around the property's perimeter. it might have been 12" gauge but could have been originally designed for 7.5" gauge (non-ridable) model. i want to model it as an ON1 scale. the con-cor n scale aerotrain is pricey, though. have fun with your BIG layout!
My grandpa owns this place. He built it, it's awesome to see people visit, and me being family, practically part owner. My grandpa is Micheal Weldon. Known as Mike.
Good to hear from you. Your grampa is a great man and one of my best friends.I wish I lived closer . Look at all my videos. You will see many things familiar.
No cost.We all do this as a group and have fun doing it.I just donate all the building stuff I find and all the time I can build stuff at home and take down there. It's 200 mile trip for me so I don't go there as much as I use to.But I still build parts for the 1/4 scale northern we got going.I just donate things like most people.
Fordland,MO If you want to run your train Call 1 417 767 4252 ask for Mike and get the info. The meets are on the first full weekend in June and October. Usually about 12 or 14 engines are there. We got room. The main loop is 7.7mi. long. We have over 50 switches. Look at some of my other videos.

What scale is this?
dcalcutt 3 years ago
1 eight or 1.5inch = 1 foot. If you search for us sometimes live steamers or 1/8 scale works.
petro062 3 years ago
So 7 inches betwen the rails?
dcalcutt 3 years ago
This is 7 1/2 inches between the rails and some that I heard are 7 1/4 inches. They run 7 1/4 in the UK too.
