Some drugs are just fucked up, look at the crackheads, and compare them to marijuana smokers. Crackheads have 0000000000,1% left in their brains (those who are really fucked up). The marijuana smokers, well.. their brain is waay up in space, but atleast they can talk and behave and act normal.
wafflehaus is right... It refers to the rich, white fucker's last hope to keep weed and drugs illegal so that the pharm. companies can continue to make money...also, hemp is a MUCH cheaper alternative to paper and cloth. and its very sturdy and easy to clean.
it all makes sense why they want to keep drugs illegal, when there are illegal they controll everything and have police to distribute and inforce to stop the competition.

its spelled white you idiot.....and thats exactly what it means.... I am a 12th generation white american.... and this is the last white hope.... the last hope for the Elite Corrupt ultra rich whites who are all in power in this country.... watch the movie then u will understand
lol you need to do more research i live in holland.. they are making new drugs and heavier weed.. its like 20% or 20times stronger than it was in the 1970s.. its also becoming a problem(weed)
i knew people who screw up their lives on drugs 1 of them was doing weed for over 16 years.
1 of my best friends was a heroin addict if you havnt seen these things dont act like you know so much about weed i used to smoke it for 4 years myself..
@GravDiga The idea that weed is "20% stronger than in the 70s" is pure myth. There have always been stronger and weaker strains of weed, as well as competent and incompetent growers. Weed is priced according to its freshness and potency, and these super strains you seem to be talking about have always been too expensive for most people to smoke on a regular basis.
@GravDiga Also, since smoking weed is a very gradual way of consuming it, most smokers stop once they've reached their desired level of high. If they reach their desired state before the joint is finished, they just pinch it out and save it for later, it's not like a drink of alcohol, where they have to finish the glass or else throw it out. I've known people who have been smoking weed for over 16 tears, and none of them are fucked up.
@yerk3 I was like that myself a joint pincher... but there are many examples of how it can fuck up a life... since humans are lazy by nature the MAJORITY of the world believes weed makes you lazy.. when in fact it seems like it only makes you sleepy...
I did weed for over half a decade and it was the primo stuff on the planet so don't worry about my knowledge of its effects.. I probably know things about it that you don't :D im a unbiased student in this matter
@GravDiga Your friends didn't screw up their lives on weed, they either did some other drug or were fucked up in the first place, and you blamed it on weed because of lazy thinking. Your friend becoming a heroin addict had nothing to do with weed. Weed and heroin are entirely different drugs, you can't even compare them. As I said, I've met people who have smoked weed for 16, 20 years with no ill effects.
@yerk3 i knew a guy who smoked weed for over 15 years.. and he developed schizophrenia or something... because once he walked up to a kid who was eating and picked a fat with him.. the kid kicked his ass and stole his stuff lol..
sucks but hey weed can fuck people up too.. i also knew 2 guys who used to smoke weed ..and then they both tried cocaine.. 1 went to prison the other one i kinda lost track of but he had his own company and a lot of cash..and fucked it all up, i know weeds ILL effects
@GravDiga And nobody looked into any other cause for the schizophrenia? Some people have a genetic tendency towards adult onset schizophrenia. Family history, the level of stress he was going through at the time, other, stronger psychoactive drugs, none of these are considered, it's all blamed on pot, the convenient scapegoat. How does one "pick a fat?"
@GravDiga Picking fights with people is not a definitive sign of schizophrenia. People pick fights for millions of reasons. Maybe he was just an asshole. The two guys who did cocaine did it because they wanted to do cocaine, not because of weed. You haven't described one "ILL effect" of weed yet, only the ill effects of other drugs, paired with the ill effects of prohibition, and one person's mental illness which could have stemmed from any of a number of causes.
@yerk3 It made him paranoid.. and hallucinate... it can cause respiratory problems.. prolonged regular use..like daily supposedly can cause schizophrenia.. it can also cause increased social anxiety and depression. . . .
The truth is science is still relatively new but that doesn't debunk any if these claims ..especially since they are argued against by ''pot heads'' 90% of the time i assume.. people who love weed and accept little or no negative opinion about it.
@GravDiga Weed does make some people paranoid, I've felt it sometimes, and it is at worst a mild annoyance. If someone suffers crippling paranoia whenever they smoke up, perhaps they shouldn't be smoking weed. What you have to remember is that everyone's physiology is different, different people respond differently to pretty much everything, including weed. Just because weed isn't for everyone doesn't mean that no one should do it.
@GravDiga Peanuts give some people hives so bad that they risk suffocating, does this mean that nobody should eat peanuts? Of course not, it only means that those people in particular shouldn't eat anything with peanuts in it, everyone else is fine. Weed is no different. Your friend was not hallucinating because of weed alone, he was hallucinating because he was schizophrenic. Schizophrenic people hallucinate, that's the main symptom of the disease.
@GravDiga Smoking anything can cause respiratory problems, but not only does weed cause far fewer respiratory problems than tobacco, which is used in far greater quantities and therefore accumulates more crud in your lungs, but smoking isn't the only way to consume weed. It can be baked in brownies, brewed as a tea, made into hot cocoa, or vaporized. There has been no definite causal link between weed and schizophrenia.
@GravDiga Weed doesn't cause social anxiety or depression, it does the opposite, it causes euphoria and tends to make people talkative. If there's any connection at all between weed and depression, it's because of people smoking weed when they're depressed because it makes them feel better, not the other way around. I've suffered occasional bouts of depression connected to my OCD, and found weed to decrease these symptoms. I have seen science debunk each of your claims.
@yerk3 Your comment is untrue.. i know for a fact that it causes social anxiety and depression :) you obviously don't.. it does not have the same effect on all people..
i can tell you that i have developed severe depression and social anxiety myself from smoking marijuana.. but before and after i didn't suffer from it as much and it disappeared about a year after i stopped smoking. Besides i've seen documentaries that also confirm the fact.... Not everyone reacts the same to it, that is a fact.
@GravDiga No, you don't know for a fact, because it isn't a fact, it's your belief, based on conjecture, faulty reasoning and the uncritical acceptance of anything said in a Partnership for a Drug Free America ad. You are correct that it doesn't have the same effect on all people, and if memory serves me correct, I'm pretty sure I said as much earlier. However, in most people, including myself and everyone I know who smokes, it actually decreases anxiety and depression.
@GravDiga I'm pretty sure though that any link between weed and anxiety and depression is a mistaken reversal of cause and effect: people who are depressed smoke weed because, as an euphorogenic, it makes them feel better, and people with anxiety smoke it because, as a mild sedative, it calms them down.
@yerk3 I really hate having debates on a comment board so let's take this in private you can state your sources and all the information you have and i will do the same eventually i am busy at the moment so i think i will get to this tomorrow..
@GravDiga I speak from experience. I have suffered from both Asperger's syndrome and OCD for my entire life, and the impact of these disorders on every facet of my life have resulted in anxiety and periodic bouts of depression, often veering into the realm of self-loathing and occasionally even suicidal thoughts. While marijuana certainly doesn't cure these disorders, it makes the symptoms, both of the OCD and the depression, much more manageable, and increases my quality of life significantly.
@yerk3 I wanted to pass you a video i saw about how it can cause schizophrenia in some people but i don't think i saved it because i am more into different matters now.
Here's a video for you though i guess you will like it. /watch?v=q2LnEQFgUL4
@GravDiga Look it up then, and bring the proof, because I'd like to see it. My suspicion is that it's probably one of those asinine videos from "rosaryflims." Their data is intensely cherry-picked.
@yerk3 the link is more opinions of mines.. please educate yourself more..on this matter before engaging in a debate if you are just going to dismiss the claims without knowing anything about it.. and of course pick a fight is what i meant to type.. sometimes you just got to think about what the other person is trying to say to figure it out, Most people online lack coherency in their typing.
@GravDiga I've educated myself more than you, and I go by definite, testable evidence, not just anecdotal stories of people who did things for reasons only they can truly know. I dismiss your claims because they are anecdotal, and anecdotal evidence is irrelevant, because for every anecdote that you bring up about someone fucking up after smoking weed, I can bring several of my own, and those of people I've known as well, of people smoking weed for 20 years with no ill effect.
@GravDiga Willy Nelson has been smoking weed constantly for at least 40 years now, maybe 50. He's in his 80s, so that's over half of his life. He recently said that smoking weed does give him a cough...so he switched to vaporizing it in stead, and it hasn't bothered him since. Saying that "most people" online lack coherency in their typing is no excuse to just give up on trying to be coherent.
You can drink your self to death from Alcohol very easily...AND IT HAPPENS ALL OVER THE WORLDDDD YOU FUCKING IDIOTS.....
It is physically IMPOSSSSSIBLE to overdose from smoking weed.... why dont you get something above a 5th grade education so that you might be able to know these simple facts of life....
Prison system represents a big part of the economy. Imagine how many people would be out of a job if weed was legalized? One million "drug offenders" set free would also increase the unemployment rates so by keeping weed illegal they're killing 2 birds with one stone.
yes but if it was to be legalized the government could regulate it and tax it and they would no longer have to spend over 40 billion dollars a year on marijuana prohibtion
keeping people locked up to help economy ?the most stupid shit i ever heard,u could make way more money taxing weed,or we could b idiots and say hey lets waste taxpayers money and police resources locking them up then say were helping economy, hope ur not economists .
if everyone think that weed should be legal why doesnt our elected officials do that for us, arent they supposed to do what we ask? hmmm , it's a reason why they will not legalize it. (money)
i am at the unplessent position to inform you that elections and goverment as there are right now worldwide are not from the people for the people . elections here in greece and as far as i can see is a multiple choice question with all the choises of answers wrong . i dont know none that can represent me at all the matters right , so how someone can represent many people at many matters . i think the hole idea is wrong as it is and i cant think of changing something to make it right.
in amsterdam canabis is so free that you dont want to smoke at the street . i smoke 20 joints per day and the only place that i didn like the smell of it ,it was amsterdam common sence is powerfull more powerfull than laws and in holland they know it. by the way this documentary has a very cool song mix of bushes voice "DJ RX White Lines" just search it and enjoy.
When watching this movie, at about 55:18 I saw a flash of words. I paused it just in time to read, "Oliver North finances Contras by selling cocaine to U.S. cities"
what pissed me off, was a crackhead from amsterdam has better ideas for national policy then the fucks we put in office. FUCK the system it fails the american people more than chinese goods
we have Internal affairs for police, why not bi partisan oversight for all branches of government and military. because if we let them keep doing what they're doing. they'll just drag down whats left of society. or worse make internment camps for the poverty stricken... wouldn't be the 1st time they did.
man the fuckin' us gov will never legalize marihuana because they want us 2 use their drugs such as prescription pills and some other shit. because they know that the best marihuana and cocaine are not from the u.s. wich means they don't make money
@sick0625 No shit I have to agree. I got put on probation and couldn't smoke for a while. But I was told I could still drink just don't get in trouble. Basically saying "oh you know we sell drugs too right. Just go down the street to your liquor store." Wtf is up with that. Just want the taxes lol.
dave4248 ...u need to shut the fu*k up..it isn't a damn theory ,it the facts.Look at the prohibition on alcohol they tried to hold in theearly 1900's..It was a waste of time and money.Wait!Isn't that basicly the same as war on drugs!?All's im saying is this video MUST GET OUT TO THE PUBLIC.I think this could truly end the drug war on the people who dont even want it but must pay for everything.
////////Look at the prohibition on alcohol they tried to hold in theearly 1900's..It was a waste of time and money.Wait!Isn't that basicly the same as war on drugs!?/////
Uh, no Dickhead. If this video simply said that the war on drugs was just as futile as prohibition, I'd agree with them. This video is saying a lot more than that. You're the one that needs to "shut the fu*k up"
i highly recomend educating yourself on any subject you call a conspiracy theory before calling it a conspiracy theory. dont just watch the news and only listen to what they have to say about it... see what the other side has to say. listen to both sides of the argument before you feel you have the grounds on which to call something a conspiracy theory. its something many people like to call EDUCATING yourself.
Why did Bush sign the form 2 days before 9/11 to go attack Afganistan... Poppy Seeds, the opiate that creates heroine and all the other hard drugs.
It's all related in some way, the government is trying to dumb you down on several fronts, stop blaming yourselves and start making changes to the problem!
yes if so americans think it not a harmful then let legalize we need a proposition in congress to get the ball rolling,I myself am ready to do my part and pretty much all of south texas power to the potsmoker!!!!!
I would love to see someone try to bring a couple kilos or 100s of kilos of heroin or cocaine into a airport and not get busted with all the tight security we have now! Wouldn't it be easy to track a plane on satellite leaving Afghanistan and not landing at a airport? That would be very suspicious! Where the hell are they unloading the drugs? If they are going to airports how is there not a bust? How can we not track the drugs coming in on a boat or plane?
Post enough posts? As for Afganistan, our soldiers guard the poppy fields and poppy production is at an all time high. The CIA has no worries sneaking the drugs in. They're basically above the law and the govt is completely corrupt at the higher levels of power.
People are quick to say drugs are getting sold to kids to keep the drug war going. Watch the new show on spike tv called DEA. The dea and cops say drugs are getting sold to kids, i watched the first episode and it was adults selling drugs to adults.
If drugs are getting sold to kids it's our American citizens that are dealing with the drugs that are selling it to kids but that has also been used as propaganda. I think most teenagers have probably tried marijuana but it's illegal and alcohol is illegal for them too but they drink it because they aren't allowed to, many teenagers are rebels. I don't hear on the news or read in the paper of 13 year olds going to rehab for cocaine. I read more about aduilts going to jail and rehab for drugs.
George Jung didn't sell drugs to kids. Adults wanted it and he sold it to them and had no regrets because it was their choice and they were going to get their drugs from him or someone else if they wanted it enough. Alcohol became legal and then out of nowhere the moral issue goes away. Does a clerk feel guilty selling alcohol to someone and they die on it? They don't get charged for manslaughter if the person that bought it was of age!
Maybe not a clerk, but sometimes bartenders can. I find it quite ridiculous. IMO, the clerks & bartenders should NOT be held accountable ever if anything happens. Just because you bought a drink, or one was put in front of you, doesn't mean you should abuse it.
When does personal accountability come into play? Apparently never, since it doesn't exist anymore.
Your right about accountability. When is our government going to take responsibility? Ever think of that!! You try growing up in that kind of environment and lets see how you turn out! Before we can ever change the wrongs that have been done we must first admit the wrong and that's the problem.
During alcohol prohibition gangs had politicians and cops paid off. If some politicans are bringing the cocaine or heroin into the country or helping to that also doesn't mean they are responsible for drugs getting dealed to the kids, prohibition is more responsible for that. If adults are dealing drugs between adults i'm sure it's more of your street level low class dealers that are selling to kids. If the CIA is or has dealed in drugs they aren't selling it to children.
Someone is helping or looking the other way for the shipement to get unloaded and for the drugs and money circulate around so the millions of dollars can be made by the higher class! It's not some idividual that is bringing in 100s of kilos. Citizens that attempt to bring in drugs probably only smuggle a few kilos at a time and to them that's a big deal and it's seen as a big deal to the law enforcement to just find a couple kilos!
All these big shipments of drugs are coming into the country and pouring onto the streets and getting cut. I haven't really heard much of heroin busts. I only hear about low class street dealers getting busted by the DEA! When has the DEA found a big shipment of heroin coming into America?
People believe anything? Most people don't feel that our government is completely honest as it is. I don't trust everything the media says but they did give a percentage of the people that don't trust the government as being completely honest. How are the drugs coming in from Afghanistan unknown? We have technology to track planes! How are ships and planes containing hundreds and hundreds of kilos of heroin sneaking by and flooding our streets?
If the story is true it's the people of this country that care what someone puts into their body and this allows for corruption and then they bitch about it. They should just regulate everything.
no, just deregulated everything and approach it again with common sense - first of all it is their body and they not the government's slaves! and second, what is this: PROHIBITION! has prohibition ever work? it never worked but surely helped organized crime a lot.
Clinton denied being involved with the cocaine. It was a conspiracy story that Bushes father was bringing the cocaine into Arkansau and Clinton was the govenor when it was going on.
no a story but a fact, its called the Iran-contra-affair and it caused the rise of crack cocaine. the CIA is financing dirty operations since it existence with drug operations - take a guess how all the heroin enters the US right now which is flooding its cities - comes with the CIA straight from Afghanistan into your streets.
The documentary failed to talk about the Mena Airport incident in Arkansau. The movie covered Bushes father and they would flash clips of Bill Clinton but theres videos on here talking about him knowing about cocaine and letting it get through the Mena Airport when he was governor. People were bein murdered and some doctor was calling the deaths suicides and Clinton did nothing about it when the doctor was exposed for lying.
The only democrate that might have agreed with Ron Paul is Mike Gravel, the others don't seem to show him respect either. At the debates he would speak up and say what he thinks about the issues while the rest of both parties just laugh and smirk.
Obama has flip flopped the marijuana issue and medical marijuana topic and hes a democrate. Hilary Clinton has flip flopped the medical marijuana issue. They just care more about the votes and trying to get into office. Ron Paul spoke up and never changed his mind which tells me hes for the people and not trying to say one thing or another to see how the votes go. He wasn't lying to try to get into office.
It mostly is the conservatives but Mike Gravel is a democrate and one of the only ones in that party that wanted to legalize marijuana and regulate the hard drugs into the control of doctors and clinics. Parties aside any individual person no matter what party they belong to can be corrupt.
I didn't see a problem with the documentary besides a shitload of corruption that people will still refuse to believe goes on. The liberal party has always been in favor of things like legalizing marijuana. Ron Paul is for ending the drug war, Ralph Nader is for legalizing pot. Ron Paul is a Republican and his ideas for the drug war and other issues gets him called a liberal or hes told to run as a independent.
Oh and also, don't believe some of the things you hear on this documentary even if someone respected says it because sometimes you can see where they cut the clip and put in something else he said right after, it's devious and should not have been done. but the people who made the documentary are good guys, but they went too far. i'm all for legalizing weed but you don't have to lie to do so.
i thought it was a very well made documentary but i thought they spent way too much time with propaganda against conservatives and not enough time on the liberals. This makes the video INCREDIBLY BIAS. both political parties are very much corrupt and this video acts as though it's only the conservatives. I dont much like either political party, but this documentary is obviously promoting an agenda.
EliteAlucard... did you watch the same documentary i did? I did not notice any anti conservative bias whatsoever... can you give me some examples? Your all for legalizing weed but not other drugs? What is your reasoning of why weed should be legal but not other drugs like mushrooms, lsd, or Ibogaine ( a drug that cures heroin and cocaine addiction but has been made illegal in the US for unknown reasons).
It's almost 11:30 AM right now where I am but in about a half hour at 12:05 PM on the movie channel SHOCS this documentary will be on again. Today saturday March 22.
The DEA also has a easier time busting someone for marijuana than harder drugs. They could fly around in their helicopter and spot marijuana fields, they have the infra red devices to go after indoor growers, they pay power company employees for information on people using more electricity.
Just legalizing pot might cause bankrupcy. Prisons would be less full and they know that the most popular illegal drug that Americans use is marijuana. Prisons are filled with many marijuana offenders and prisons profit from each jail cell that isn't empty. Joe Rogan made a good point that alcohol is legal because how many people know how to make whiskey? Pot is a plant that is grown from a seed.
One guy they interviewed that was against drugs said that he went to Amsterdam and that you needed to step over people strung out on drugs when you would walk around the city. They went to Amsterdam and proved the guy was lying. People did use other drugs in Amsterdam but you were able to walk around the city and it was cleaner then the streets of California.
They talk about having the drug war to help people get off the use of drugs and talk about getting money for better drug treatment and then the money they get for these things just goes into putting people in jail.
They said Ricky Ross was at the bottom of the food chain in drug buisness. He went to jail but the big suppliers that brought in the cocaine didn't go to jail and they pretty much showed that Bushes father was involved. The documentary was getting at that this country is ran on drug money and the funding for the war on drugs.
They said that we went to war shortly with Afghanistan after 9/11 which was in the fall and Afghanistan plants their opium around November and they harvest it in may.
In the 1970s after Nixon created the DEA he gave 50 million dollars to Nepal to have them outlaw marijuana and hash, then heroin use increased.
They also talked about drugs and terrorism. They said Afghanistan was producing no heroin under the taliban and after 9/11 they are now responsible for over 80 percent of heroin coming into America.
On wallstreet there is also trading based on how many people are in a prison.
One guy ended up saying that theres no way to know if it's true or not about the government bringing in drugs but they said people should ask themselves how much corruption you could buy with every million dollars you have.
Private corporations have built prisons. Over 60 percent of inmates are in jail on drug charges. The owners of the prisons make the money off the amount of inmates they have in prison. As long as there is no empty jail sells they will make money on every inmate. The inmates are also used for slave labor, sometimes they might do work that the prison can make a profit from.
I watched this a few days ago. They were saying that 80 percent of Americans don't agree that pot is a dangerous drug. It also talked about the government bein responsible for bringing drugs into the country. Talked about Ricky Ross, he made the crack cocaine in the ghetto out of the cocaine the CIA brought in from Nicaragua. In the 1980s the media advertised crack as a new cheap affordable addictive drug.
lol warden said "we don't screw around here, this isn't texas" HAHAHA you're right if it were texas we'ed be frying 14 yr old retarded girls and innocent black people, not actual criminals. TWERD
what can we do? we all need to start writing letters to our so called leaders. that seem pretty Liam if anyone else has ideas tell me. I want to stand infront of a store and push people to see this movie
I agree.. awesome documentary on showtime.. the full movie is very interesting.. and very imformative.. and no.. its not a druggie movie.. Its actually very intelecually fimed
This Movie Kicked ASS! Exposes Bush's and CIA DEA for their evil little wars on drugs/plants etc. Lets not forget, they SPRAY with CROPDUSTER Night mission flights into columbia (Without their approval/pre puppet government), well, the spray agent orange like chemical that pollutes everything and still gets its way into U.S. Bodies. Remeber the "Crop Duster poisoned crop scare" after 911? Who are the TERRORISTS SPRAYING CROPS? Oh, and Sherrif Joe is a B Fcker.
How many total people have died as a result of cocaine or crack cocaine abuse in the United States? With the US government behind an epidemic of such magnitude, who's to say that they wouldn't be behind something like 9/11?

all yall muthafuckas get to snore al of that cocaine and smoke all the weed thanks to us the mexican cartels we are more powerful than any fucken government in the world.
i 100% beleive that cia is the real drug lord , they funded afghanistan and let the drug lords stay in big mansions , the reason bein that the heroin there will supply europe and america gets its heroin from south america , all i say is stick it to the man and take what the fuck u like wen u like
Heroin comes from the Poppies in Afghanistan as well as the Opium. Why do you think the US stays there. Recently a plane went down in Florida. A CIA plane, FILLED WITH COCAINE!
hey wondawoman, theyre corrupt , if they really wanted to stopdrug trade they would, but it buys to many holiday homes and pays for to many of there children to go thru private school , the goverment or cia or fbi or mi5 , want it to come thru , they make money to turn a blind eye , the golden triangle made a lot of senators and politicions millionaires , go on my babby were on the same page! FUCK THEM AND THERE LAWS
As one who has actually had quite the lengthy, wild love affair with the proverbial White Lady and who has experienced the myriad of corruptions within the sectored city streets in even the most renowned old money end-of-the-line port towns... it's hard to slither back up to the suburban surface and hear Dad, clad in sweater, morning paper and coffee, tell me "You're a conspiracy nut" when I thought "cops sell drugs" was everyday knowledge.
so errr how come that the CIA muthafukers, and the Bushies and Clinton etc etc aren't wearing stripes in the jails and being talked to like shit by that ugly big fat control freak?? HUH?
all you have to do is look at the profit earnt by drugs.. and you will se how impossible the goal of "eliminating or significantly reducing the illicit cultivation of the coca bush, the cannabis plant and the opium poppy" is
We all have our price... If drugs got to pricey, a kindergarden teacher might start in on the trade...
The drug war, up close, was what woke me up to the condition of liberty in our country. It is a litmus test for how much a politician respects the rights and privacy of the individual.
When Ron Paul was my congressman, he gave me the most intelligent and deferential (to the individual) responses of any I have received from my elected officials.
See his response at the "All AMERICAN FORUM" on PBS with Tavis Smiley.

what a fucking idiot that retard had a marajuana tatoo on his arm and hes like hehahahuh smoke weed every dayy ahahehuhhuh.. yea buddy, your the one in jail and looking like a dumass you shouldnt be proud!
i've found marijuana users to be generally useless people. its very difficult to get things done when you're high...but I spose the same goes for being drunk.
if alcohol is legal, why not marijuana? because it would be impossible to make money of off?
I live in a state where all alcohol is sold through state stores, with a tax stamp. It would be easy for the government, whether state or federal, to tax sales of marijuana, were it legalized.
I would venture to say that in your experience with marijuana users, you have found marijuana *abusers* to be generally useless people. Drug use aside, it comes down to individual psychology, and how motivated, etc, they are. I know some very successful people that use marijuana with varying frequency.
I feel so sorry for the young fullas that get wrongfully caught
up in this drug war.
It's ridiculous to humiliate people and send them to prison for
using drugs, because apparently they have a problem.
I mean shit, do you see the police arresting alcoholics?
Somethings not right. Someones making alot of money.

netherlanicperson19 2 years ago
lol you need to do more research i live in holland.. they are making new drugs and heavier weed.. its like 20% or 20times stronger than it was in the 1970s.. its also becoming a problem(weed)
i knew people who screw up their lives on drugs 1 of them was doing weed for over 16 years.
1 of my best friends was a heroin addict if you havnt seen these things dont act like you know so much about weed i used to smoke it for 4 years myself..
GravDiga 2 years ago
@GravDiga The idea that weed is "20% stronger than in the 70s" is pure myth. There have always been stronger and weaker strains of weed, as well as competent and incompetent growers. Weed is priced according to its freshness and potency, and these super strains you seem to be talking about have always been too expensive for most people to smoke on a regular basis.
yerk3 1 year ago
@GravDiga Also, since smoking weed is a very gradual way of consuming it, most smokers stop once they've reached their desired level of high. If they reach their desired state before the joint is finished, they just pinch it out and save it for later, it's not like a drink of alcohol, where they have to finish the glass or else throw it out. I've known people who have been smoking weed for over 16 tears, and none of them are fucked up.
yerk3 1 year ago
@yerk3 I was like that myself a joint pincher... but there are many examples of how it can fuck up a life... since humans are lazy by nature the MAJORITY of the world believes weed makes you lazy.. when in fact it seems like it only makes you sleepy...
I did weed for over half a decade and it was the primo stuff on the planet so don't worry about my knowledge of its effects.. I probably know things about it that you don't :D im a unbiased student in this matter
in fact i'm on both sides in a way
GravDiga 1 year ago
@GravDiga Your friends didn't screw up their lives on weed, they either did some other drug or were fucked up in the first place, and you blamed it on weed because of lazy thinking. Your friend becoming a heroin addict had nothing to do with weed. Weed and heroin are entirely different drugs, you can't even compare them. As I said, I've met people who have smoked weed for 16, 20 years with no ill effects.
yerk3 1 year ago
@yerk3 i knew a guy who smoked weed for over 15 years.. and he developed schizophrenia or something... because once he walked up to a kid who was eating and picked a fat with him.. the kid kicked his ass and stole his stuff lol..
sucks but hey weed can fuck people up too.. i also knew 2 guys who used to smoke weed ..and then they both tried cocaine.. 1 went to prison the other one i kinda lost track of but he had his own company and a lot of cash..and fucked it all up, i know weeds ILL effects
GravDiga 1 year ago
@GravDiga And nobody looked into any other cause for the schizophrenia? Some people have a genetic tendency towards adult onset schizophrenia. Family history, the level of stress he was going through at the time, other, stronger psychoactive drugs, none of these are considered, it's all blamed on pot, the convenient scapegoat. How does one "pick a fat?"
yerk3 1 year ago
@GravDiga Picking fights with people is not a definitive sign of schizophrenia. People pick fights for millions of reasons. Maybe he was just an asshole. The two guys who did cocaine did it because they wanted to do cocaine, not because of weed. You haven't described one "ILL effect" of weed yet, only the ill effects of other drugs, paired with the ill effects of prohibition, and one person's mental illness which could have stemmed from any of a number of causes.
yerk3 1 year ago
@yerk3 It made him paranoid.. and hallucinate... it can cause respiratory problems.. prolonged regular use..like daily supposedly can cause schizophrenia.. it can also cause increased social anxiety and depression. . . .
The truth is science is still relatively new but that doesn't debunk any if these claims ..especially since they are argued against by ''pot heads'' 90% of the time i assume.. people who love weed and accept little or no negative opinion about it.
/watch?v=s2o0h6eWXC8 go read
GravDiga 1 year ago
@GravDiga Weed does make some people paranoid, I've felt it sometimes, and it is at worst a mild annoyance. If someone suffers crippling paranoia whenever they smoke up, perhaps they shouldn't be smoking weed. What you have to remember is that everyone's physiology is different, different people respond differently to pretty much everything, including weed. Just because weed isn't for everyone doesn't mean that no one should do it.
yerk3 1 year ago
@GravDiga Peanuts give some people hives so bad that they risk suffocating, does this mean that nobody should eat peanuts? Of course not, it only means that those people in particular shouldn't eat anything with peanuts in it, everyone else is fine. Weed is no different. Your friend was not hallucinating because of weed alone, he was hallucinating because he was schizophrenic. Schizophrenic people hallucinate, that's the main symptom of the disease.
yerk3 1 year ago
@GravDiga Smoking anything can cause respiratory problems, but not only does weed cause far fewer respiratory problems than tobacco, which is used in far greater quantities and therefore accumulates more crud in your lungs, but smoking isn't the only way to consume weed. It can be baked in brownies, brewed as a tea, made into hot cocoa, or vaporized. There has been no definite causal link between weed and schizophrenia.
yerk3 1 year ago
@GravDiga Weed doesn't cause social anxiety or depression, it does the opposite, it causes euphoria and tends to make people talkative. If there's any connection at all between weed and depression, it's because of people smoking weed when they're depressed because it makes them feel better, not the other way around. I've suffered occasional bouts of depression connected to my OCD, and found weed to decrease these symptoms. I have seen science debunk each of your claims.
yerk3 1 year ago
@yerk3 Your comment is untrue.. i know for a fact that it causes social anxiety and depression :) you obviously don't.. it does not have the same effect on all people..
i can tell you that i have developed severe depression and social anxiety myself from smoking marijuana.. but before and after i didn't suffer from it as much and it disappeared about a year after i stopped smoking. Besides i've seen documentaries that also confirm the fact.... Not everyone reacts the same to it, that is a fact.
GravDiga 1 year ago
@GravDiga No, you don't know for a fact, because it isn't a fact, it's your belief, based on conjecture, faulty reasoning and the uncritical acceptance of anything said in a Partnership for a Drug Free America ad. You are correct that it doesn't have the same effect on all people, and if memory serves me correct, I'm pretty sure I said as much earlier. However, in most people, including myself and everyone I know who smokes, it actually decreases anxiety and depression.
yerk3 1 year ago
@yerk3 Where exactly is your proof for anything you stated though?
i mean you are so pro legalization of marijuana.. so doesn't that mean your opinion is probably biased?
GravDiga 1 year ago
@GravDiga I'm pretty sure though that any link between weed and anxiety and depression is a mistaken reversal of cause and effect: people who are depressed smoke weed because, as an euphorogenic, it makes them feel better, and people with anxiety smoke it because, as a mild sedative, it calms them down.
yerk3 1 year ago
@yerk3 I really hate having debates on a comment board so let's take this in private you can state your sources and all the information you have and i will do the same eventually i am busy at the moment so i think i will get to this tomorrow..

GravDiga 1 year ago
@GravDiga I speak from experience. I have suffered from both Asperger's syndrome and OCD for my entire life, and the impact of these disorders on every facet of my life have resulted in anxiety and periodic bouts of depression, often veering into the realm of self-loathing and occasionally even suicidal thoughts. While marijuana certainly doesn't cure these disorders, it makes the symptoms, both of the OCD and the depression, much more manageable, and increases my quality of life significantly.
yerk3 1 year ago
@yerk3 I wanted to pass you a video i saw about how it can cause schizophrenia in some people but i don't think i saved it because i am more into different matters now.
Here's a video for you though i guess you will like it. /watch?v=q2LnEQFgUL4

@GravDiga Look it up then, and bring the proof, because I'd like to see it. My suspicion is that it's probably one of those asinine videos from "rosaryflims." Their data is intensely cherry-picked.
yerk3 1 year ago
@yerk3 the link is more opinions of mines.. please educate yourself more..on this matter before engaging in a debate if you are just going to dismiss the claims without knowing anything about it.. and of course pick a fight is what i meant to type.. sometimes you just got to think about what the other person is trying to say to figure it out, Most people online lack coherency in their typing.
GravDiga 1 year ago
@GravDiga I've educated myself more than you, and I go by definite, testable evidence, not just anecdotal stories of people who did things for reasons only they can truly know. I dismiss your claims because they are anecdotal, and anecdotal evidence is irrelevant, because for every anecdote that you bring up about someone fucking up after smoking weed, I can bring several of my own, and those of people I've known as well, of people smoking weed for 20 years with no ill effect.
yerk3 1 year ago
@GravDiga Willy Nelson has been smoking weed constantly for at least 40 years now, maybe 50. He's in his 80s, so that's over half of his life. He recently said that smoking weed does give him a cough...so he switched to vaporizing it in stead, and it hasn't bothered him since. Saying that "most people" online lack coherency in their typing is no excuse to just give up on trying to be coherent.

Viper2734 3 years ago
Post enough posts? As for Afganistan, our soldiers guard the poppy fields and poppy production is at an all time high. The CIA has no worries sneaking the drugs in. They're basically above the law and the govt is completely corrupt at the higher levels of power.
Buckeyefarmer 3 years ago 2

Watch the show cops, they make plenty of drug arrests and most of the people arrested are 18 and older for marijuana or hard drugs.
Viper2734 3 years ago
People are quick to say drugs are getting sold to kids to keep the drug war going. Watch the new show on spike tv called DEA. The dea and cops say drugs are getting sold to kids, i watched the first episode and it was adults selling drugs to adults.
Viper2734 3 years ago 3
If drugs are getting sold to kids it's our American citizens that are dealing with the drugs that are selling it to kids but that has also been used as propaganda. I think most teenagers have probably tried marijuana but it's illegal and alcohol is illegal for them too but they drink it because they aren't allowed to, many teenagers are rebels. I don't hear on the news or read in the paper of 13 year olds going to rehab for cocaine. I read more about aduilts going to jail and rehab for drugs.
Viper2734 3 years ago
George Jung didn't sell drugs to kids. Adults wanted it and he sold it to them and had no regrets because it was their choice and they were going to get their drugs from him or someone else if they wanted it enough. Alcohol became legal and then out of nowhere the moral issue goes away. Does a clerk feel guilty selling alcohol to someone and they die on it? They don't get charged for manslaughter if the person that bought it was of age!
Viper2734 3 years ago 2
Maybe not a clerk, but sometimes bartenders can. I find it quite ridiculous. IMO, the clerks & bartenders should NOT be held accountable ever if anything happens. Just because you bought a drink, or one was put in front of you, doesn't mean you should abuse it.
When does personal accountability come into play? Apparently never, since it doesn't exist anymore.
allthetea001 3 years ago
Your right about accountability. When is our government going to take responsibility? Ever think of that!! You try growing up in that kind of environment and lets see how you turn out! Before we can ever change the wrongs that have been done we must first admit the wrong and that's the problem.
shambowls 3 years ago
During alcohol prohibition gangs had politicians and cops paid off. If some politicans are bringing the cocaine or heroin into the country or helping to that also doesn't mean they are responsible for drugs getting dealed to the kids, prohibition is more responsible for that. If adults are dealing drugs between adults i'm sure it's more of your street level low class dealers that are selling to kids. If the CIA is or has dealed in drugs they aren't selling it to children.
Viper2734 3 years ago
Someone is helping or looking the other way for the shipement to get unloaded and for the drugs and money circulate around so the millions of dollars can be made by the higher class! It's not some idividual that is bringing in 100s of kilos. Citizens that attempt to bring in drugs probably only smuggle a few kilos at a time and to them that's a big deal and it's seen as a big deal to the law enforcement to just find a couple kilos!
Viper2734 3 years ago
All these big shipments of drugs are coming into the country and pouring onto the streets and getting cut. I haven't really heard much of heroin busts. I only hear about low class street dealers getting busted by the DEA! When has the DEA found a big shipment of heroin coming into America?
Viper2734 3 years ago
People believe anything? Most people don't feel that our government is completely honest as it is. I don't trust everything the media says but they did give a percentage of the people that don't trust the government as being completely honest. How are the drugs coming in from Afghanistan unknown? We have technology to track planes! How are ships and planes containing hundreds and hundreds of kilos of heroin sneaking by and flooding our streets?
Viper2734 3 years ago
The posts regarding this tripe is proof positive some people will believe anything. Geez!

no a story but a fact, its called the Iran-contra-affair and it caused the rise of crack cocaine. the CIA is financing dirty operations since it existence with drug operations - take a guess how all the heroin enters the US right now which is flooding its cities - comes with the CIA straight from Afghanistan into your streets.

The only democrate that might have agreed with Ron Paul is Mike Gravel, the others don't seem to show him respect either. At the debates he would speak up and say what he thinks about the issues while the rest of both parties just laugh and smirk.

The republican party candidates that ran with Ron Paul have failed to show him respect on his views.
Viper2734 3 years ago
Obama has flip flopped the marijuana issue and medical marijuana topic and hes a democrate. Hilary Clinton has flip flopped the medical marijuana issue. They just care more about the votes and trying to get into office. Ron Paul spoke up and never changed his mind which tells me hes for the people and not trying to say one thing or another to see how the votes go. He wasn't lying to try to get into office.
Viper2734 3 years ago
It mostly is the conservatives but Mike Gravel is a democrate and one of the only ones in that party that wanted to legalize marijuana and regulate the hard drugs into the control of doctors and clinics. Parties aside any individual person no matter what party they belong to can be corrupt.
Viper2734 3 years ago
I didn't see a problem with the documentary besides a shitload of corruption that people will still refuse to believe goes on. The liberal party has always been in favor of things like legalizing marijuana. Ron Paul is for ending the drug war, Ralph Nader is for legalizing pot. Ron Paul is a Republican and his ideas for the drug war and other issues gets him called a liberal or hes told to run as a independent.
Viper2734 3 years ago
Oh and also, don't believe some of the things you hear on this documentary even if someone respected says it because sometimes you can see where they cut the clip and put in something else he said right after, it's devious and should not have been done. but the people who made the documentary are good guys, but they went too far. i'm all for legalizing weed but you don't have to lie to do so.
EliteAlucard1 3 years ago
i thought it was a very well made documentary but i thought they spent way too much time with propaganda against conservatives and not enough time on the liberals. I dont much like either political party, but this documentary is obviously promoting an agenda.

The DEA also has a easier time busting someone for marijuana than harder drugs. They could fly around in their helicopter and spot marijuana fields, they have the infra red devices to go after indoor growers, they pay power company employees for information on people using more electricity.
Viper2734 3 years ago
Just legalizing pot might cause bankrupcy. Prisons would be less full and they know that the most popular illegal drug that Americans use is marijuana. Prisons are filled with many marijuana offenders and prisons profit from each jail cell that isn't empty. Joe Rogan made a good point that alcohol is legal because how many people know how to make whiskey? Pot is a plant that is grown from a seed.

Viper2734 3 years ago

I don't really like the way you used Rick Ross' quotes in this trailer though.. And didn't use any of those racist people's comments..

As one who has actually had quite the lengthy, wild love affair with the proverbial White Lady and who has experienced the myriad of corruptions within the sectored city streets in even the most renowned old money end-of-the-line port towns... it's hard to slither back up to the suburban surface and hear Dad, clad in sweater, morning paper and coffee, tell me "You're a conspiracy nut" when I thought "cops sell drugs" was everyday knowledge.

all you have to do is look at the profit earnt by drugs.. and you will se how impossible the goal of "eliminating or significantly reducing the illicit cultivation of the coca bush, the cannabis plant and the opium poppy" is
We all have our price... If drugs got to pricey, a kindergarden teacher might start in on the trade...

I really would like to watch this documentary.
See his response at the "All AMERICAN FORUM" on PBS with Tavis Smiley.
peace & freedom.

Politicians, corrupt cops, the criminal justice system all benefit from drugs being illegal.
Just like with Al Capone and alcohol prohibition, we have created a criminal enterprise instead of winning the war on drugs.
This is a war that never will be won until they are finally legalized using drug taxes to treat the addicts. Do a google on LEAP
ScottyDog2 4 years ago 5
I we legalized drugs and taxed and controlled them like alcohol, we could put the thugs and criminals our of business over night.
We have not learned from alcohol prohibition.
The drug war has only resulted in Americans loosing constitutional freedoms and general disrespect for the Government.
Drugs are illegal to benefit drugs dealers by raising prices.

i've found marijuana users to be generally useless people. its very difficult to get things done when you're high...but I spose the same goes for being drunk.
if alcohol is legal, why not marijuana? because it would be impossible to make money of off?
zed4785 4 years ago
Because the medical industry depends on its illegality.
