The statement of killing 6 people may be simply figured out by counting the ratio of LD50 which is not accurate as mice and humans have quite different physiology. Adding such number can attract the interest of audiences but that may not be fact.

This well made film unfortunately gives the Cape Cobra a bad image. The story line is obviously staged and the poor snake has been tormented many times to induce it to strike at the camera. I doubt very much that if you were lucky enough to spot one of these predators in the wild and you just stood perfectly still, that it would strike at you so many times- without provocation. I suspect it would just glide away and disappear as soon as it sensed you. The real nature of snakes is neglected here.
