@VladiKun About 20 minutes after I posted that comment, I figured out what was wrong with my GameGuard, so I don't need it anymore anyway. Until figuring out what program was conflicting with it, this was the only possible solution.

Hey, hey. Wanted everyone to know that this does work. I've tried a couple other similar fixes that failed and made my cry on the inside. This one worked just fine. I've got Windows 7 Home (64 bit) and I've got the game open and I'm logged in right now.

I tried the short way, my comp picked up a trojan virus, idk if it was because of the download or just coincidence, whatever the reason, it was enough for me to take the long way and yea, it works, i recommend everyone to do it the long way until the game publishers update their gameguard, apparently gameguard now does support windows 7, the game designers are just slow or lazy to update their games is all =/ what ya guna do?

@victorcastro19 Then you may have an virus in an windows exe... Because GmaGuard (I think!) search for illegal things like speed hacks and then kill the process which made it. And when you have a virus which goes into crsrss.exe and make somethin that gameguard doesn´t like, then he kill crsrss.exe and then the whole computer crash.

Go google and enter "automatic reboot on system failure" then choose the second link

With this you see a blue screen. Make picture and upload. Then we help you :D

I was really hoping this would work! I replaced the files like you said but when i tried to connect with the sever, it said it doesnt match.. I even replaced my gameguard folder (for trickster) with the gameguard folder found in the download, and it still didnt work. I did everything that u said but idk why it doesnt wanna work for me. Hopefully they fix this problem!

Awesome, I managed to get it fixed. Thanks for the video. Instead of just copying the .des file, a friend sent me his entire GameGuard folder (including the .des file) and it worked!

I tried to do what you said, downloaded the file and replaced both of the GameGuard.des'. I wanted to do it with Pangya. But when I replace the file and start the game, gameguard updates itself (which pretty much overwrites the files I "modified"). When I start it again, it doesn't update, only when I replace the files. So I'm sure GameGuard doesn't like to get modified. :p Any idea what I could do?

@Merterer2 which game are you doing that for? cause if it's trickster then shouldn't click the "Check Files" which updates it, you should manually update it yourself THEN replace the .des file. Sometimes some game allows you to run from the main game link ".exe" which skips the launcher (for updates) and lets you go straight into the log in window.

1)install it

2)click on My Computer>C: Drive>Program Files>Crossfire folder (or the company name that runs Crossfire) and look around for a file called GameGuard.des.

or

sometimes you can skip the Program Files folder and you can find the Crossfire folder directly from the Driver in your PC/Laptop.

Some people reported that this works with 32bit, I'm not sure. You can try it and see if it works. Make sure to backup the files that you will be replacing. Tell me how it goes.

@VladiKun I downloaded crossfire. but the files you show on your video which are in folder "crossfire" arent in the folder i downloaded .I only found a filke called "GameGuard.des" .To my surprise there wasnt any file called "GameGuard".Only a file with the name GameGuard.des as i told you before.Please reply soon

Well, after trying this one out a while I noticed a detail with it. It only let´s you play on windowed mode and nothing else. Fullscreen mode is out of the question. Just wanted you to know that.

yo chekk it out, i play this Mu Online, and wat i have to do is, everytimei restart my Laptop, i repeat this trick, and the error wont pop up, but if it does, reboot, repeat, relax...n ur good :-D. If still problem, u may have to download a different GameGuard folder, and Gameguard.des

If I'm not mistaken, NETREEV has some other games that have game guard. The games "Grand Chase" and "Pangya" both use game guard that can run on W7
